Harvard Park Pre School Isleworth October Newsletter 2014. News from the Managers Nicki and Tracey and deputy manager, Natalie – Firstly we would like to apologise for not sending out a newsletter for September but it was an extremely busy month with new children and new staff. So we would like to welcome all our new children and staff into Harvard Park and hope you have a wonderful year with us. We would also like to welcome to the Pre School Danielle and Diluni who have moved from our Feltham Branch to join the Isleworth Branch. Natalie Monica is now our Room Leader and Erin is now our One to One worker working with 2 of our children. Just a few notes to start off the month of October:• Please be on time when dropping and collecting your child as the gate is now being locked on time for safety measures • Please do not let your children bring food into the setting as we do have some children with severe allergies to certain food. The children have a sufficient snack time during their time at the Pre School • If you bring siblings and they are older could they please stay in the playground as it is already a busy home time and can get a bit chaotic As you have probably realised for parents/children who were here last term we are no longer in groups but working as a whole group of COOL CATS . Please read the notice board outside daily for any messages or changes and please join our Facebook site to catch our fab days/activities! DATES FOR YOUR DIARY:• Half Term – closed for one week – 27th October until 4th November • Closed for staff training 3rd November • Fundraising Day for Breast Cancer – “Wear it Pink” – all children to wear pink and pay £2.00 also could all parents please bake pink cakes or biscuits for our Cake Sale and all proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer as well. This is a charity very close to our heart at Harvard Park and would like the support from our parents/carers/grandparents (whoever likes to bake) remember NO NUTS in your bakes please. • PHOTO DAYS – For all morning children the photographer will be here from 8.00 until 11.30 on 5TH NOVEMBER (if it is not your child’s day please book with Natalie if you want to bring them in for just the photo. Great idea for Christmas Presents!!! • For all afternoon children the photographer - same as above but from 12 – 4 on 6th NOVEMBER!!!!
Notes from the Team about activities this month we will carry on Learning about sensory activities and learning about ourselves, our staff and the things we like to do.
PLEASE NOTE THIS NEWSLETTER WILL BE PAPER COPY BUT FROM NEXT MONTH PLEASE JOIN AND LOOK AT FACEBOOK – it saves our paper and trees!! If you want a paper copy let Natalie know and she will print for you. Big well done to all your parents who have been encouraging either walking or riding to pre-school! Less buggies is better for us as we have lack of storage as you can see. To avoid upset or confusion everything should be clearly labelled with your child’s name. Also remember once you collect your child from their groups they are your responsibility so DO NOT let them push the door handle to let themselves out. ADULTS ONLY!!!!!!
We would like to wish a very belated birthday to Jaspreet, Haider, Patrick, Reece, Summer and Ruman who celebrated their birthdays in September. We would like to wish Maddison Kay a very Happy 4th Birthday this month Please could parents/ carers bring in fruit so we can share it during our snack time? You are doing great so keep it up! We have noticed that some parents are still parking next to parked cars outside the school gates please do not do this! PLEASE REFRAIN FROM USING THE STAFF CAR PARK AT ANYTIME EVEN IF THE BARRIER IS UP/THEY DO HAVE CAMERAS AND HARVARD PARK DO GET INTO TROUBLE IF OUR PARENTS ARE SEEN DRIVING IN. THANK YOU Can parents please join our Facebook site as we are trialling our news letters on our new site to save our trees! Just type in Harvard Park Pre-school and Day Nursery and we should pop up! We regularly update this with pictures, messages and notices. We will of course print of a few copies to those parents who do not have access to a computer. We will also display a copy on our parents table.
