Notes from the management team: Welcome to all of our new families who have joined Harvard Park! You should have received your activation link for our new ParentMail service. DO NOT ignore this, you will need to sign yourselves up so reap the benefits from this new service. While you are downloading the ParentMail app, be sure to download the EyLog app! We would like to wish every a Happy Diwali for the end of this month too!

The front door: Please remember the front door is not for you to open from the outside. Please wait for a member of staff to open the door for you!

Term Dates for October: Please remember that Friday 18th October we are closed for an inset day . From Monday 21st October to Friday 25th October we are closed for half term. We re-open on Monday 28th October at 8:30 am.

Tuesday 15th October

Due to our limited peg area, please can we remind all parents to put children’s bags UNDER the bench. It is tricky for the children to get their coats off of their pegs when the pegs are so full.

Our photographer will be in to take photo’s which make perfect memories or Christmas gifts. If not your day, please see the management team to book a time to come in!

Reminder about jewellery : Please can we remind parents only small stud earring and only religious jewellery are permitted while at nursery. Thank You

Welcome’s and Goodbye's We would like to welcome all of the new children starting with us to our Harvard Park family! We hope you have a smooth transition and will be very happy at Harvard Park.

Most children will have a new peg picture and name card so please encourage them to find their faces.

Our ICT consultant is on holiday and will return the 2nd week of October so all children who start at the end of September will get their pictures and names cards done from the 2nd week of October,

Dates for you diary and reminders: Thursday 31st October - Halloween Party: Today we will be having our annual Halloween Party. Please encourage your child to dress up in their favourite of spookiest Halloween Outfit and join us for some goulish fun!

Friday 18th October: We are CLOSED for an Inset day this day. There will be no pre-school.

We have no space to house your buggies. Please do not leave them on our premises, you MUST take them with you when you leave.

Notes from Pre-School: Cool Cats Topic: Music from different cultures and from around the world Over the next month we will have lots of new children starting at preschool. We would like to welcome all of you into the room and hope you have a smooth transition. We will be doing lots of fun activities such as music and movement with instruments and colourful material, exploring different genres of music such as jazz and classical, experimenting with the way we can move to these genres, making our own instruments and of course continuing with our newly implement yoga sessions.

If you have any multi-cultural CD’S or instruments you can come and share with us, we would love you to! Please speak to Jeanna to find out a good time for you to come and share this with us.

Reminders: Children in nappies: Please provide enough for your child We have no spares left; we will be calling you if you do not provide them for your child during their session. This includes wipes, we are doing our bit for the environment and no longer have spare wipes on site.

Children who are potty training: Please bring in spare clothes for your children.

3 to 4 pairs of trousers, pants/knickers / socks and a pair of shoes will be enough. IF you have our spares, please bring them back as we are running very low on everything!

Fruit reminder: Please can we remind all parents that you are contracted to provide 1 bag of sealed fruit a week. Please bring this with you on your first session of the week.

Please label all of you belongings: We cannot be held responsible if your child’s clothing goes missing and it does not have you name in. This includes any bottles and/or comforters they may bring in with them.

Please send in your pictures for our family albums and boards if you haven't done so already! Don’t forget to bringing 1 toy as well for our all about me boxes!

Uniform : replenished stock and have more sizes available.

Download the app and sign up to ParentMail—we will be checking within the next two weeks as it is essential for you to do this. It is free of charge and takes you 2 minutes to sign yourself up.

While in you app store, download the EyLog app too—this helps makes it easier for to upload pictures and video’s to help us with your child’s development at pre-school and at home.
