Julie Boulton Mrs. Julie K. Boulton is from St. Cloud, Florida. Although, Mrs. Boulton was NOT raised on a ranch or taught to ride horses, doesn’t mean she doesn’t know anything about it. When her daughter, Nicole, said at the age of 5, she wanted a horse and would like to run for Miss Rodeo Florida Sweetheart, she knew her work was cut out for her. Her idea of being a good mother and teacher doesn’t mean you take your kid to lessons and drop them off or buy a horse and let someone else do all the work. She’s had experience with that from the families, she deals with, in her martial arts school. As a martial arts competitor and instructor, over the past 40 years and having judged and been judged, in numerous tournaments, she knows an eye for details, a keen sense of fairness and knowledge of the activity, are crucial. She believes winners are NOT just those who have the highest score but, also, show their enthusiasm and love for the activity they are engaged in, no matter what it is. Over the past 7 years, Mrs. Boulton has proven that point by helping her daughter with her new found loves. Rodeo, horses and beauty pageants. She has helped her purchase horses, engaged in riding lessons, (even herself), gone through the do’s and

don’ts, as well as, the agony of colic, foundering and death (when one was struck by lightening) and shoveled more poop than she cared to. When her daughter won Ms. Rodeo Florida Sweetheart in 2013, she was there when they traveled all over the state, attending rodeos. They represented Florida “at the oldest rodeo in the United States”, in Prescott, Arizona, that year, also. Sometimes, that type of motivation, hands-on experiences and willingness to do the work, can give you better qualifications than having been raised in a situation that others may take for granted. Mrs. Boulton would like to Thank all those in Okeechobee for giving her the honor of judging this pageant and believing in her expertise.

Angelina Davis Angelina Davis life long Osceola county resident mother of 3 currently works at Central Florida Fine Interiors and in her spare time she attends and helps work with the youth at different equine events and horse shows and is no stranger to the queen world her sister has won a few of them. And also currently sits on the horsemanship committee for the Miss Southeastern Circuit Inc.

Emily started her Rodeo Queening career as “Miss Congeniality” for the Miss Silver Spurs pageant in 2006, She later earned the coveted title of Miss Silver Spurs in 2009, where she also acquired both the Horsemanship award, as well as the title of “Miss Photogenic”. She currently serves on both the Miss Silver Spurs Committee, and the Miss Southeastern Circuit Queen Committee. She works more specifically with horsemanship. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, where she minored in psychology at the University of Central Florida, Emily started her career as an Animal Services Enforcement Officer in Orlando. Tihler Browning

Tihler Shay Browning is the daughter of Linda Davis of St. Cloud, Florida. Tihler is 21 years old, and attends Kisser University. She is going to school for her degree in business and financing, with a miner in marketing through non-profit organizations. Tihler works as a substitute teacher in Osceola County, and as a photographer for a studio called “Lenard’s”. Her long term goals after finishing her degree would be to establish a business in child care and later establish a non-profit program that provides funding for kids in need. Tihler has a drive for community service, and volunteering. She services as an active member in several local organizations such as the “Miss Silver Spurs” pageant committee, the “Miss Southeastern Pageant committee, and has been a Pop Warner cheer coach for the St. Cloud Youth Football Association for the last six years, coached the St. Cloud Middle School Competitive team, and the St. Thomas Aquinas team. Tihler is also a member of server global and national organizations such as Give Kids The World, FCCLA Alumni (family career and community leaders of America), YWAM (youth with a mission), Dreams For Teens, and The United States Peace Crops. Her ultimate goals in working with so many organizations is to learn how to establish her own. Tihler is planning on leaving for five months with YWAM this fall to study in their discipleship program in “Townsvill Australia”. Where she will spend her first two months training and her last three months teaching students and ministering to others about the word of god. Tihler has loved the sport of rodeo, for as long as she can remember. For the last six years she’s been very busy. Tihler has been working, training, and perusing her life as a queen steadily. She ran for her first Miss title in 2010 the title of “Miss Silver Spurs”. Wining the prestigious “Doug Partin Spirit Award” and add sales. Then ran for “Miss Teen Rodeo Florida” shortly after, wining first runner up. After teen Tihler was hungry for a win she competed for “Miss Silver Spurs” a second time. Winning the 2013 MSS title, horsemanship, ads, and the scholarship. It’s crazy what dedication can lead to. Tihler has been ridding seriously since she was about 9 years old. She rode in quadrille for several years and has done a little bit of everything. From English, to western pleasure, reining, showmanship, even barrels, and poles. Although for the last five years most of her ridding has consisted of racing through the arena, in a god ole’ traditional queen run. Tihler’s future as a rodeo queen is not over just yet! After her Okeechobee rein, she plans to take some time off to further her education. But wants to within the next three years run for the “Miss southeastern circuit title” and later run for “Miss Rodeo Florida” what an honor it would be to represent all 12 states in our circuit or represent her home town state where her roots lay.

“I cannot grasp the fact this this year is coming to a close. I feel like just yesterday was valentines and I was winning the title of Miss Rodeo Okeechobee. With every title won comes new lessons taught, new friends made, and a whole suit case of memories. Some of my favorite moments with this court and title were the simplest. Car rides with Taylor-Ann and Michaela filled with oh so many laughs, from Osceola County to Okeechobee County. Watching Caitlyn Albers my teen, mold in to well knowledge and ambitious queen. My MRO princess become our Florida princess! Little miss Callie forever filling our journeys with giggles. Mrs Michael Harper, for having our best interest always at heart and dedicating herself to our journey. Without you this would not be possible. I know that I would not be the queen I am today without a few special peoples. I’d first like to thank my sponsors. Mark and Laura Keesler, from a little girl who didn’t know how to wear lip stick, to one of your queens, to family to sponsors my love for you guys is endless. Thank you Keesler Pro sound for not only your sponsorship for Okeechobee, but your endless love and support. Dawn Corbitt, without you this would have all not been possible. You have been by myside since the get go. I know with you by myside I will always have support, love, a friend and family. Your dedication to me, and my journey is something I will never be able to repay you for. Thank you for loving me like a daughter all these years, and always being my go to. We are and forever will be a dynamic due. I would like to thank my family for their endless support and encouragement through my journey not only as Okeechobee but life itself. Franny, Angel and Deedee how lucky am I to have sisters as great as you all. Franny my fashion consistent, graphic designing go to I am so thankful for you. Angel my equine, horse loving, knowledge book. Thank you for running around and always helping me and my horse get ready to go. Deedee, although you don’t know too much about this “queening” stuff your endless support to come watch and cheer me on is more than I could ask for. Thanks for always making me laugh. Sammy and Regina Roberts where would I be as a queen without you. Thank you for teaching me pretty much all that I know. Molding me, and showing me the in’s and out of this world. Regina traveling with you this year has been a blast, I’ve loved all our memories and laughs we have made. Sammy you have been my biggest inspiration through this journey. I am so fortunate to have such a great past queen to model myself after. I love you both. I’d also like to thank the Wall family for providing me with horses all year, I am so thankful for you guys and can’t express my apparition. My behind the scene crew Drew, Derek and Lauren for all your preparation help for rodeos, events and pageants. Sheila Shirah for all your support and help through the years and of course the Hopkins family. Thank you Andria for hauling for me and being my travel buddy and Whitney for your encouragement and always making me laugh. Last but not least I’d like to give the most thanks to my mom. The woman who I owe all the credit to. You are my rock and foundation. I would not be where I am or who I am without you. I owe to you my biggest accomplishments and could never thank you enough. For the miles you put on you’ve put on your

car, the money you spend on queen clothes and going back in forth between counties, the hours you’ve dedicated, and the laughter you bring to every event. I hope I have made you proud. When I win a title you win to. Because without you I wouldn’t be able to do it all. I love you so much mom and could not ever ask for a better nor stronger women to carry me through life. You are the best queen mom I could ask for. Through winning this Okeechobee title I have learned so much about who I am as a person and queen. Who I want to be as a person and queen and what I’m going to be. But I know without the love of Michael Harper, my friend’s family and sponsors it would not be possible. I have enjoyed every rodeo, loved every queen run, proudly signed every tear off and enjoyed every step closer to my dreams this title has brought me. The question all year has been “why aren’t all the queens form Okeechobee.” I leave you with these last few words. Rodeo is a sport of integrity, a sport of passion. Contestants are egger and dedicated. It unites us all as one, and brings together boots of all shapes and sizes. That is what makes it not only the toughest sport on earth but the greatest. Our relives are our team mates, we support and love one another. So I don’t have to be from Okeechobee to love rodeo and represent this great sport. I just have to be determined and dedicated. I am Tihler Browning your 2015 Miss Rodeo Okeechobee…Signing out, God Bless!”

Caitlyn Albers

Micheala Wall

Caitlyn Albers is the 19 year old daughter of Paul and Karen Albers of Okeechobee. She began her rodeo career before she could barely walk as her father was a professional bronc rider and her mother a barrel racer. She has competed in all the rodeo events except rough stock which her brother competes in. She is a senior at Okeechobee high school and volunteers at animal control as a Vet tech. She plans on attending college to be a veterinarian. This year as Miss Teen Rodeo Okeechobee has been outstanding. I love sharing my passion of rodeo with others and being a role model for younger girls. I cant wait to see what the world of rodeo queening has in store for me down the road. I would like to thank my parents for supporting me and taking me to every rodeo and appearance they could. I know the travel took long but we made it far.

Michaela Rose Wall is 8 years old and is in the third grade at Harmony Community School. Michaela was born and raised in Saint Cloud, Florida on the Deseret Ranch. Michaela could ride a horse before she could walk. She was only a week old when she attended her first rodeo. When Michaela was 3, she was competing in barrel racing.

I would next like to thank my friends for all their help. from doing my hair and picking my outfits, and all those makeup tutorials. Sierra has perfected how to curl my hair just right. Lexie gives the best makeup tips and i know i can count on you to make my makeup fabulous. Lastly, Taylor has the go to closet for queen clothes and impeccable western fashion. They were always my go to crew. I would like to thank Michelle and Rick too. Without their help I would not be where I am today. I know I can always count on them to be there for me. Lastly I’d like to thank my horse, for carrying me through it all and being the perfect queen’s horse. This year went by so fast, almost in the blink of an eye. I look forward to learning more and becoming a better rodeo queen. I’ve come to love the way of life for a rodeo queen and am not done just yet. Remember, it’s the little things that matter so never take one single action for granted. That crown and sash you wear don’t always bring a smile, its the personality wearing them that do.

Rodeo is a tradition in the Wall family. Michaela’s dad, Steve Wall, is a pick up man and her mom, Caity, is a professional trick rider. She has two traveling rodeo partners, her brother Tyler, 9 and her sister Hailey, 10. Michaela is filling the boots of her big sister Hailey who served as Miss Rodeo Florida Sweetheart 2014. Michaela is practicing to become a trick rider as well. Her favorite horse is Seemore, a 28 year old paint horse, because according to her “He is the best trick riding horse ever”! Michaela enjoys going to church and learning about God. She is a member of New Faith Community Church. She has been involved in 4-H since she was 5 years old. This is her first year showing a market steer. When Michaela is not outside in her boots playing with her horses, she is reading a horse book or playing with model horses. Michaela is grateful for the opportunity to represent the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and the great city of Okeechobee as Miss Rodeo Okeechobee Sweetheart 2015.
