The Paris-based ensemble has already been heard in many European venues and has won an impressive list of prestigious prizes. The HERMéS QUARTET currently holds the Helen F. Whitaker Chamber Music Chair of YCA.
Gifted 22-year-old JI has a compelling musical presence and a creative vision that led to his 2010 ÒStop & ListenÓ guerrilla performances in his native country of Korea Ð bringing classical music to the public on the busy streets of Seoul. As a winner of the 2012 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, Ji was also honored with seven YCA prizes. He is currently working with Choong-Mo Kang at the Juilliard School.
