The Anagrafi Type Foundry from Greece offers a series of byzantine and historical fonts that all share a common well of inspiration: they spring up from the pages of an old, yellowish, full of aroma book. It is a labour of love and longing for that incomparable art we meet in old manuscripts and stamps, a trust from scribes and typographers of the past. It’s an attempt that addresses to a limited breadth of applications, but claims to save something from the charm of the past —be it so under the limitations of new technology comparatively to the old type founding.
