Fall is a great time to welcome change. Which is why we’re eager to announce all the exciting improvements we’re making to bring you an even better experience.

Between October 2, 2023 and mid-March 2024, we’ll be hard at work on many renovations. See what’s coming down the trail!

Center Stage

We’re expanding the amphitheater and adding better accessibility to meet ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) guidance and create a more inclusive space for all.

Interactive Experiences

New interactive outdoor exhibits will provide more hands-on opportunities to learn about our beautiful oak trees, the fascinating lifecycle of frogs, and more.

Meet Flora and Fauna

Read about the diverse plant and animal life that make their home in Oak Canyon Nature Center with our informative new interpretative signage.

Trail Blazers

We’re adding an ADA-compliant travel trail starting from the parking lot for improved accessibility and convenience.

Keep exploring and enjoying the parks’ trails, which will stay open while the interpretive center is closed during the renovation. Programming will also be paused as we complete improvements. But don’t worry! All your favorite programs and activities will return when we re-open.
