OUR STUDENTS:

All participants must be toilet trained (no pull ups or training pants). Additional fees for class field trips may apply. Participation in all external events is optional.

OUR PROGRAM OPTIONS:

You have the option to sign up for 2-day, 3-day or 5-day a week classes. To sign up for 5-day a week classes, please register for both the Monday, Wednesday, Friday class and the Tuesday, Thursday class.

English Country Dance

You’ve seen it in movies like ‘Emma’ and ‘Pride and Prejudice.’ Queen Elizabeth saw the common folk doing it and brought it to the English Court. Now it’s done all over the world, and you can do it too! English Country Dance is elegant, it’s aerobic, and it’s NOT hard! Wear sturdy shoes and comfortable clothing. No partner needed. Kids 10 and up are welcome when accompanied by an adult. Instructor: Judee Pronovost.

Tickle the Keys

If you secretly wished you could play the piano, this is your opportunity! You do not need to own a piano to enjoy this class. Learn to play the piano in a fun atmosphere. Youth Piano Material Fee: $10.50 (Piano book) Instructor:

Introduction to Violin

Give your child the advantage of learning the violin before they return to school! Not only will they learn to play the violin but they will also understand how to read music. Student must bring own instrument. A $10.50 material fee is payable to the instructor at the first class. Instructor: Patrick’s Music School Staff.

Introduction to Voice

Do you like to sing? In this class, you will learn to breathe properly, sing on pitch and have fun at the same time! Students will prepare a song to perform at the last class meeting. Instructor: Patrick's Music School Staff

Pianoland

Children will learn note-reading, correct hand positions, five-finger songs, chords and how to play using both hands at the same time. A home instruments is not necessary. A book is required and may be purchased at Patrick’s for $8.50 at first class. Instructor: Patrick’s Music School Staff.

Tunes for Tots

Share the joy of crating music with your little one as students sing together, play rhythmic instruments, and move their bodies in this fun and creative class! Children enjoy getting together every week using shakers, rhythm sticks, drums and tambourines in this much-loved, small-group class. Adult participation is required. Instructor: Music Maker Teacher

Anaheim Family YMCA Musical Theater

In this class, kids can explore the world of performance and musical theater, where everyone is a star! Join this program and find out just what it takes to earn a standing ovation. Class starts with an intro to performance and explores all of the aspects from rehearsals to showtime. We will study songs, choreography, and scenes from musicals like Annie, Hairspray, Bye Bye Birdie, Wicked and more! Come prepared to perform from day one.

Introduction to Drums

Has your child been begging to learn the drums? In this fun and energetic class, students will learn the basics of drumming, rhythm, and beat. It is recommended students purchase drum sticks and practice pad. Instructor will provide purchase information. Instructor: Patrick’s Music School Staff.

Mainstream chords, rhythms, strumming techniques, and new songs are taught-- including how to tune the instrument. Must bring your own guitar. (Affordable guitars are available for purchase or rent.) Introduction to Guitar
