TRAIL AND PARK HOURS Sunrise to Sunset

Is your child ready to get outside and have some fun with friends? Our Canyon Companions program provides children the opportunity to spend time outdoors, actively learning in and engaging with all that Oak Canyon Nature Center has to offer. Canyon Companions sessions captivate participants in exciting, in-person experiences revolving around various nature-based themes! This program meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3pm-5pm. Each session includes hiking, games, crafts, and animal demonstrations. Ages 6-12 REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED

Rowdy Raccoons

Join us for a week of fun as we learn all about everyone’s favorite masked bandit: the raccoon! Let’s explore the nocturnal world of these mischievous mammals with exciting games, crafts, and activities. MARCH 2, 4 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM $40

WILDERNESS SURVIVAL CAMP

We are excited to offer four weeks of wilderness fun this year! Learn the fundamentals of surviving in the wild in this adventurous camp designed for your pre-teen. Campers will learn how to build shelters, hone their archery skills, and learn basic first-aid in these weeks of survival fun! Ages 12-14 (No class on July 5th) REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

INTERPRETIVE CENTER Closed until further notice Oak Canyon Nature Center is a 58-acre natural park nestled in Anaheim Hills. With a year-round stream, miles of hiking trails, and an interpretive center, we provide the ideal location for your next nature walk and offer a variety of seasonal programming for the whole family to enjoy. Make sure to stop inside the John J. Collier Interpretive Center to see some of our animal ambassadors, as well as exhibits featuring local ecology and natural history. The Nature Center is perfect for those who are just stepping into wilderness for the first time or for those experienced trekkers who are looking to enjoy one of Anaheim’s hidden gems. 6700 E.
