Analogue Magazine
The Irish press stalwarts have been unsurprisingly slow to react to the recent media revolution that has completely altered the manner in which we discover new music, and learn about the bands we love. In this blog-dominated landscape the most ardent music fans have grown used to a new journalistic attitude- talk to the readers, don’t talk down to them. Thus, when Analogue Magazine launched last October as a student-run publication in Dublin city centre it inherited an eager audience. Analogue transplants the energetic zeal of bloggers with none of the associated amateur design or attitude. As a magazine aimed mainly at 18-35 year olds, we’ve worked out that it maybe should be actually written by 18-35 year olds. Makes sense, doesn’t it? Galvanized by our “People’s Choice” award at the recent National Student Media Awards, we set our sights on the rest of the island. email us with comments or suggestions: analoguemagazine _at_gmail.com
