Título: Residencia Universitaria en Nuevo Baztán Fecha: Enero 2018 Programa: Residencia Universitaria e instalación cultural El proyecto que se plantea es una residencia para estudiantes universitarios en Nuevo Baztán, Madrid, España. Tras un análisis del entorno urbano de la residencia se aprecian unas carencias destacables en el lugar: falta de equipamientos, falta de espacios para estudiar y falta de un espacio público cambiante. Para mejorar estas condiciones iniciales, el proyecto plantea una intervención urbana y para todos los ciudadanos de Nuevo Baztán durante todo el año, ya que, como se plantean en la actualidad los calendarios escolares, la residencia quedaría vacía en verano. El edificio se compone de una estructura metálica y unos cerramientos prefabricados que permiten el movimiento y la variación de los espacios. En planta baja, se encuentran 4 depósitos en los que se almacenará agua durante el invierno; en la primera planta se encuentra un vaso de piscina para albergar el agua durante el verano y con uso de plaza elevada durante el invierno, a ambos lados del vaso de piscina, en la segunda planta se colocan lo que serán dos módulos de biblioteca en invierno y vestuarios en verano; la tercera planta será de uso invariable de cocinas y lavanderías por cuestiones de complejidad de movimiento de instalaciones para periodos estacionales; finalmente, en cuarta y quinta planta los dormitorios de los estudiantes que permiten una flexibilidad en sus particiones que facilitan su uso como apartamentos vacacionales de mayores dimensiones en la época de verano. Por último, el edificio cuenta con una comunicación vertical de escaleras mecánicas hasta la segunda planta de acceso público, unos ascensores y escaleras de evacuación. Dos grúas estarán permanentemente en la instalación para permitir y facilitar los cambios estacionales que el edificio plantea.

Title: University Residence in Nuevo Baztán Date: January 2018 Program: University Residence and cultural facility The proposed project is a residence for university students in Nuevo Baztán, Madrid, Spain. After an analysis of the urban environment of the residence there are notable deficiencies in the place: lack of equipment, lack of spaces to study and lack of a changing public space. To improve these initial conditions, the project proposes an urban intervention for all the citizens of Nuevo Baztán throughout the year, since, as presently planned school calendars, the residence would be empty in summer. The building is made up of a metallic structure and some prefabricated enclosures that allow the movement and the variation of the spaces. On the ground floor, there are 4 tanks in which water will be stored during the winter; on the first floor there is a pool glass to house the water during the summer and with the use of an elevated square during the winter, on both sides of the pool, on the second floor there are two library modules in winter and changing rooms in summer; the third floor will be of invariable use of kitchens and laundries for reasons of complexity of movement of facilities for seasonal periods; finally, on the fourth and fifth floor, the dormitories of the students that allow a flexibility in their partitions that facilitate their use as holiday apartments of greater dimensions in the summer time. Finally, the building has a vertical communication of escalators to the second floor of public access, elevators and evacuation stairs. Two cranes will be permanently in the facility to allow and facilitate the seasonal changes that the building poses.

Título: Eurovillas + Las Villas Fecha: Octubre 2017 Programa: Intervenciones urbanas efímeras El proyecto consiste en plantear diversos tipos de intervenciones para incrementar la actividad en el espacio público de Eurovillas y Las Villas, Madrid, España. El proceso de proyecto primero analiza cuales son los espacios públicos principales del lugar y qué tipo de actividades cubren. En este análisis se detecta que el espacio público principal del lugar está situado en el centro de la urbanización y que el resto de zonas carecen de espacios públicos de interés. Por ello, se plantea en primer lugar, recuperar ese espacio central y su vitalidad; en segundo lugar, intervenir temporalmente las parcelas vacías que hay repartidas por la urbanización con actividades como mercadillos, talleres, plazas con mobiliario realizado en los talleres o parques cuyos columpios puedan montar los propios vecinos; en tercer y último lugar, ubicar 3 equipamientos en 4 grandes solares que existen en el perímetro de Eurovillas + Las Villas, dichos equipamientos se emplazarían durante un periodo de un año en cada solar quedando cada año uno de los solares en “barbecho”. La intención principal de esta intervención es la mejora de la vida pública y la posibilidad de devolver a los propietarios las parcelas que se invadan gracias a un fácil desmontaje del uso que se le haya otorgado, por otro lado, también quiere plantearse la colaboración con empresas privadas que financien dichas intervenciones.

Title: Eurovillas + Las Villas Date: October 2017 Program: Ephemeral urban interventions The project consists of proposing various types of interventions to increase activity in the public space of Eurovillas and Las Villas, Madrid, Spain. The project process first analyzes which are the main public spaces of the place and what kind of activities they cover. In this analysis it is detected that the main public space of the place is located in the center of the urbanization and that the rest of the areas lack public spaces of interest. Therefore, it is proposed in the first place, to recover that central space and its vitality; Secondly, temporarily intervene the empty plots that are scattered around the urbanization with activities such as street markets, workshops, squares with furniture made in the workshops or parks whose swings can be set up by the neighbors themselves; in third and last place, locate 3 facilities in 4 large sites that exist in the perimeter of Eurovillas + Las Villas, said facilities would be located for a period of one year in each plot, each year leaving one of the lots in “fallow”. The main intention of this intervention is the improvement of public life and the possibility of returning to the owners the plots that are invaded thanks to an easy dismantling of the use that has been granted, on the other hand, also wants to consider collaboration with private companies that finance these interventions.

Playground Espacio de playground ubicado en las parcelas de mayores dimensiones que permite mayor movimiento para los niños que serán los principales usuarios. El playground y todos sus elementos serán montados y colocados por los vecinos en talleres comunes y públicos.

Título: Análisis de Arganzuela Fecha: Diciembre 2017 El análisis de la zona de Arganzuela se propone dentro de la asignatura de Urbanística 3 para poder desarrollar posteriormente una intervención que supla las deficiencias detectadas y resuelva los problemas que tiene el lugar. Las diferencias facetas del distrito lo hacen un lugar muy rico en muchos aspectos tanto sociales como culturales. Por otro lado, el río supone uno de sus límites más claros con uno de los proyectos de infraestructuras más importante de los últimos años para la ciudad de Madrid.

Title: Analysis of Arganzuela Date: December 2017 The analysis of the Arganzuela area is proposed within the subject of Urban Planning 3 to be able to later develop an intervention that covers the deficiencies detected and solves the problems that the place has. The faceted differences of the district make it a very rich place in many social and cultural aspects. On the other hand, the river is one of its clearest limits with one of the most important infrastructure projects in recent years for the city of Madrid.

Título: El Neo-Ensanche Fecha: Mayo 2018 El proyecto se ubica en el área de Mahou-Calderón en el distrito de Arganzuela, Madrid. Se trata del desarrollo de un proyecto urbanístico para este emplazamiento de 20Ha. En primer lugar, se desarrolla el tratamiento y relación con el entorno extrayendo las conclusiones que serán las guías principales del proyecto. Posteriormente se trata el espacio público, algo fundamental en el proyecto, estudiando las causas y posibilidades para lograr una amplia utilización del espacio público del entorno. Trata de ser un espacio cómodo para el peatón sin impedir el paso del tráfico rodado y, sobre todo, dándole cabida y relevancia al transporte público. Más adelante, tomando como referencia el Parque de la Villette de París de Bernard Tschumi el proyecto desarrolla una serie de follies en los cruces de calles. Estas follies o hitos pretenden unificar el uso de las calles. Por ejemplo, en el cruce de una calle con bajos que tienen un uso comercial con una calle en la que el uso terciario de oficinas es mayor, se propondrán espacios de estar del tipo plazas que permitan a los usuarios descansar sentados o tomar aire fresco. Por otro lado, es importante en este proyecto la mezcla y diversidad de usos, evitando en la medida de lo posible los polos de atracción de un determinado uso con la finalidad de conseguir un uso constante y variado del espacio público del proyecto. Las tipologías edificatorias mezclan vivienda, oficina y equipamientos para alcanzar el resultado deseado.

Title: The Neo-Ensanche Date: May 2018 The project is located in the Mahou-Calderón area in the district of Arganzuela, Madrid. This is the development of an urban project for this site of 20Ha. In the first place, the treatment and relationship with the environment is developed drawing the conclusions that will be the main guides of the project. Subsequently, the public space is treated, something fundamental in the project, studying the causes and possibilities to achieve a wide use of the public space of the environment. It tries to be a comfortable space for the pedestrian without impeding the passage of road traffic and, above all, giving space and relevance to public transport. Later, taking as reference the Parc de la Villette de Paris by Bernard Tschumi, the project develops a series of follies at street crossings. These follies or milestones aim to unify the use of the streets. For example, at the intersection of a street with low streets that have a commercial use with a street in which the tertiary use of offices is greater, there will be proposed living spaces of the squares type that allow users to rest while sitting or having fresh air. On the other hand, it is important in this project the mixture and diversity of uses, avoiding as far as possible the poles of attraction of a particular use in order to achieve a constant and varied use of the public space of the project. The building typologies mix housing, office and equipment to achieve the desired result.

El tema esta elegido por un interés personal por conocer más acerca del tema debido a su candente actualidad y relevancia en estos momentos. El trabajo se divide en 8 cuadernos, cada cual trata un tema diferente del urbanismo. Además, del carácter teórico que supone estudiar el urbanismo desde el punto de vista del género, el trabajo indaga y se referencia en diseñadores gráficos y obras reconocidas para crear un trabajo que no solo desarrolla su contenido teórico sino que también lo hace en su expresión gráfica.
