CP with Cycle Ruler is a special methodology
that
attributes
every Bhrigu Chakra (i.e. 12 year
cycle) with 9 planets. Scribe has been doing research on death and longevity in the perspective of BCP Cycle Rulers. In this regard Mars and Jupiter appear playing pregnant roles, especially in those horoscopes where longevity falls slightly less than or more than madhya aayu (medium life). It should be borne in mind that BCP Cycle Ruler Mars owns the 12-year from age 49 to 60, whereas Jupiter owns the 12-year from age 61 to 72, in all nativities. This article addresses crux of author’s research on finding year of death during BCP Cycle Rulers Mars and Jupiter.
The first section of this article deals with BCP Cycle Ruler Mars and Longevity, while second section aims at BCP Cycle Ruler Jupiter and Longevity.
Section 1. BCP Cycle Ruler Mars
L
ife and death has a subtle connection with Mars, since it is the lord of 1st and 8th signs of natural zodiac or Kalapurusha (time personified). First house denotes janma (birth), deha (physical body), roopa (appearance), vartamAna (living or existence of 1
life) etc. Eighth house signifies ayus (longevity), marana (death) , klesa (anguish), ripu (enemy or adversity), randhra (hole or fall) etc. Saturn – being farthest and darkest heavenly body of solar system – symbolizes death, or in other words, destined term of life or longevity. It is found in this research that whenever Saturn aspects Mars, it curtails longevity, provided 2nd and 7th houses are afflicted at birth. Conversely, if Mars aspects Saturn (while Saturn does not aspect Mars in return) than it is not as bad as former case. In both situations, other standard procedures of longevity determination should check out, especially ayusthana (8th and 3rd houses). If lords of 8th and 3rd are badly placed in marakasthana (7th and 2nd houses) or dusthana (6th, 8th, and 12th houses) then decrement in life span is indicated. Snap Shot 1. Whenever Saturn aspects Mars, it curtails longevity, provided 2nd and 7th houses are afflicted at
birth. 2. Conversely, if Mars aspects Saturn (while Saturn does not aspect Mars in return) than it is not as

Here marana should not confuse with another similar but subtly different term maraka. The 8th house is a marana-
sthana, whereas 7th and 2nd houses are termed maraka-sthanas.
Mars and Longevity Combinations A. If Mars is posited in enemy houses 2nd-7th-12th, while 3rd-8th-12th houses are occupied by malefic planets, and afflicted by Badhaka lord (through placement, aspect or conjunction), then native will be victim of death during BCP Cycle Ruler Mars (age 49 to 60). The year of death will correspond to the house that is occupied, owned or aspected by Mars. B. If Mars is posited in friendly house/sign whereas 6th-8th-12th, and 2nd-8th-12th house are occupied by malefic planets and afflicted by Badhaka lord (through placement, aspect or conjunction) then native will pass away during BCP Cycle Ruler Mars (age 49 to 60). C. If Mars is posited in a good house (1st-5th-9th), whereas 7th-8th-12th houses are occupied by Marakas and afflicted by Badhaka, then native will die before completion of BCP Cycle Ruler Mars (age 49 to 60).
Illustrations 1. Nethaji Subhas Chandra Bose (Indian Freedom Fighter)
Here Mars posited in 2nd house (an enemy and Maraka house). Subhash Chandrabose died at the beginning of BCP Cycle Ruler Mars on August 22, 1945 at the age of 49. According to BCP scheme age 49 corresponds to 1st house .In Mars cycle period 49 year from Mars is Mars posited house.This house is aspected by malefic Sat from 8th house. So the year of death is the house where Mars is posited.
2. Benazir Bhutto (Former Prime Minister of Pakistan)
In the chart of Benazir Bhutto, Mars is relegated in enemy and Maraka house 7th. She was assassinated on December 27, 2007 at the age of 54. The age of death (i.e. 54) becomes 6th house as per simple BCP scheme. On BCP Cycle Ruler plane it becomes 6th from Mars. Here 6th house from Mars is 12th house from lagna i.e. Scorpio (a house owned by Mars).
3. Ramakrishna Paramahamsa (Indian Mystic and Seer)
Here Mars is sitting alone in enemy 12th house, so the probable slap of longevity should fall in BCP Cycle Ruler Mars. Ramakrishna Paramahamsa breathed his last on August 16, 1886 at the age of 51. On simple BCP scheme, age 51 becomes 3rd house from lagna (i.e. Aries – a house owned by Mars). Whereas according to BCP Cycle Ruler scheme, age 51 is equal to 3rd house from Mars (i.e. Pisces – a house powerfully occupied by Badhaka lord Venus). 4. Osho Rajneesh (Guru of Spirituality and New Age Tantra)
Mars is posited in friendly sign (Pisces) yet it is in 8th house along with four other planets. Osho Rajneesh died on January 19, 1990 at the beginning of age 59. It was during BCP Cycle Ruler Mars. Age 59 makes 11th house from lagna (i.e. Pisces) as per simple BCP scheme. Note Mars is casting full aspect on Pisces as well as its lord Jupiter. Here age 59 becomes 11th from Mars (i.e. Libra) as per BCP Cycle Ruler. But Libra is not directly connected (ownership, occupation or aspect) to Mars.
5. Parama Hamsa Yogananda (Yogi and Seer)
Mars is in friendly sign (Pisces) with friendly Jupiter but in 8th house. Paramahamsa Yogananda passed away on March 7, 1952 at the age of 60. The BCP corresponding year is 12th house to Leo lagna (i.e. Cancer). Here, although Cancer is not occupied, owned or aspected by Mars, but Jupiter – who is dispositor of Mars and also associated with Mars – is directly aspecting Cancer (a sign that corresponds to age 60 as per BCP).
6. Adolf Hitler (Nazi German dictator)
Here advocated rule B applies. Mars is occupied in own but Maraka house along with Sun and two inimical planets (Mercury and Venus). The 3rd house is tenanted by malefic Ketu whereas Libra ascendant is aspected by Badhaka lord Sun. As a result, he died in Mars cyclic ruling period at the age of 57 on April 30, 1945. As per BCP, the age 57 is equal to 9th house from lagna. Here it is Gemini, a house occupied by Rahu. Counting from BCP Cycle Ruler Mars, Gemini is 3rd from Mars.
7. Chitti Babu (Indian Musician and Veena Player)
Here rule C worked. Mars posited in friendly sign and good 5th house. But Badhakesh Saturn is aspecting Mars from Badhakasthana (Aquarius). He died on February 9, 1996 at the age of 60[running]. BCP Cycle Ruler Mars was active at the time of death. According to BCP, age 60 becomes 12th house from lagna (i.e. Pisces). Here Pisces is directly aspected by 12th lord Jup from 8th house. While as per Cycle Ruler Mars , the age 60 becomes 12th from the Mars (i.e. Cancer). Here Cancer is hemmed between two malefic planets Mars and Ketu. So death took place in Mars cycle and in 12th from Mars corresponding year.
8. Ghantasala (Telugu Playback Singer and Music Director)
Mars is domiciled in inimical 2nd house. The 12th lord Jupiter is aspecting Mars. Lagna lord Saturn is associated with Rahu and Gulika. Badhaka house (Scorpio) is occupied by two malefic (Sun and Mercury) and retrograde Venus. He died during BCP Cycle Ruler Mars on February 11, 1974 at the age of 52. The BCP corresponding year of death (age 52) is equal to 4th house from lagna i.e. Aries – a sign owned by Mars. As per BCP Cycle Ruler, age 52 is equal to 4th from Mars i.e. Taurus. Here Taurus is under full aspect of Mars. Moreover, Taurus is also occupied by Moon (7th lord markesh), and aspected by Venus from Badhakasthana (Scorpio).
Section 2. BCP Cycle Ruler Jupiter2
A
lthough Jupiter is generally deemed a first rate natural benefic that bestows all around prosperity and expansion in every area of life. But Jupiter becomes Badhaka as well as Marakesh for Gemini and Virgo lagnas. It is also an enemy
of Venus that rules Taurus and Libra lagnas. Similarly Jupiter generally plays a negative role for Capricorn and Aquarius lagnas. Scribe has found some clues to determine the year of death during BCP Cycle Ruler Jupiter that spans from age 61 to 72. Jupiter and Badhaka play a key role in killing one in between age 61 and 72. So we have to verify these two factors (Jupiter and Badhaka) in the purview of placement, aspect and conjunction.
Jupiter and Longevity Combinations D. If Jupiter is afflicted by Maraka and Badhaka planets then one will probably die during BCP Cycle Ruler Jupiter (age 61 to 72). The age of death will correspond to the house that is connected with Badhaka or Badhakesh (through placement, aspect or conjunction). Sometime, planets connected with Badhaka or Jupiter also indicate year of death. 9. K.S. KrishnaMurty (Founder of K.P. Astrology)

author Mantreshwara clearly maintains many aphorisms involving transit of Jupiter in determining time of death. And those readers, who presume Saturn always kills or destroys, should read select aphorisms of Chandra Kala Nadi and Bhrigu Nadi translated by late C.S. Patel.
Sri KrishnaMurty died on March 3, 1972 when age 64 was running. This age (64) falls under period of BCP Cycle Ruler Jupiter. Here Jupiter is placed in 8th house, while Badhaka lord Mars is posited in 9th house and Ketu is occupied in 12th house (Pisces – a sign of Jupiter). Therefore Jupiter got the power to kill the native in his ruling 12 years cycle. According to BCP Cycle Ruler, age of death i.e. 64 becomes 4th from Jupiter. The 4th from Jupiter is Scorpio which is a Badhaka house of Capricorn lagna. Moreover, as per simple BCP scheme, age 64 is equal to 4th from Capricorn lagna, i.e. Aries. And this Aries sign is not only owned by but also aspected by Badhaka Mars.
10. Indira Gandhi (Former Prime Minister of India)
Indira Gandhi was assassinated on March 31, 1984 when she was running age of 67. This is again the Jupiter cycle ruling period. Jupiter is domicile in 11th house (Badhakasthan for Cancer lagna). So Jupiter became a deadly malefic to kill the native3. Here Venus is Badhakesh and posited in 6th house along with Rahu, whereas Mars is occupied in 2nd Maraka house. As per BCP Cycle Ruler, age 67 becomes 7th from Jupiter. It falls in Scorpio. Now Scorpio4 is under spell of four evil factors. Firstly it is occupied by Markesh Sun, secondly, it is occupied by 12th lord Mercury, thirdly, it is aspected by Jupiter from Badhakasthana (11th house), and finally Scorpio is aspected by Mars from Marakasthana (2nd house).
11. Bal Gangadhar Tilak (Indian Nationalist and Author) 3
Indira Gandhi’s Jupiter is not only placed in badhakasthana (Taurus) but it is also making parivartana with badhakesh
Venus. Among different kinds of Sambandhas, parivartana (sign exchange) supersedes whenever its period arises. In general chart analysis, parivartana effect materializes in second half of life, or second half of that planet’s period. 4 So many factors influencing Scorpio also reveals cause of death. Generally Scorpio foretells death through weapon,
poison, targeted killing, assassination etc.
B.G. Tilak died on August 1, 1920 at the age of 64 running. This is the Jupiter cycle ruling period (age between 61 to 72). Even though Jupiter is nicely placed in his own house, it is conjoined with malefic Rahu and aspected by Saturn from 12th house Gemini. Hence Jupiter has attained killing potential. Age 64 becomes 4th house from Jupiter (i.e. Gemini) as per BCP Cycle Ruler periodic scheme. Here Gemini is neither Badhakasthana, nor has any kind of connection with Badhakesh Venus or even Jupiter. It is only located in 12th from Cancer lagna. But if you consider BCP Cycle Ruler Jupiter’s placement (Pisces) as tentative lagna then Gemini contains evil influence of both Markesh and Badhakesh. Take Jupiter’s placement sign Pisces as lagna. Mercury (lord of Virgo) is Badhakesh as well as Markesh. Similarly, Saturn (being 11th lord) is second grade Maraka for Pisces. Both Saturn and Mercury are occupied in Gemini which 4th from BCP Cycle Ruler Jupiter.
12. Lal Bahadur Sastry (Former Prime Minister of India)
Veteran Indian politician Lal Bahadur Shastry died on January 11, 1966 at the age of 62 running. It was BCP Cycle Ruler Jupiter period. Here Moon is Badhaka lord (for Scorpio lang) and it is posited in 8th house. Retrograde Jupiter is domiciled in 6th house and aspected by 7th lord (Markesh) Venus from 12th house. So Jupiter becomes the agent of Yamaraja or death inflicting planet. Death occurred at age 62 that becomes 2nd house (Taurus) from BCP Cycle Ruler Jupiter. Taurus is a powerful Marakasthana from Scorpio lagna. Moreover, Taurus falls 12th from Badhaka lord Moon, while Taurus’ lord Venus is directly aspecting Jupiter.
13. Pedda Babu (Indian Industrialist)
The native died on March 11, 2012, when he was running age of 62 (BCP Cycle Ruler Jupiter period). Although for Aquarius lagna, Libra is Badhakasthana, and Venus is Badhaka lord. But here Maraka role played greater role than Badhaka. Jupiter alone imbibes killer potential mainly because Jupiter owns 2nd and 11th houses and sitting in ascendant. Moreover, Jupiter is also under full aspect of 7th lord Sun, and 12th lord Saturn. Thus Jupiter is got power to kill the native. Native died at age 62 which is analogous to 2nd house from BCP Cycle Ruler Jupiter i.e. Pisces. Three major afflictions fall upon Pisces. Firstly it is a Marakasthana for Aquarius, secondly it is occupied by Rahu, and lastly 8th lord Mercury is aspecting Pisces from 8th house.
14. M.S. Savitri (Karnatic classical vocalist, scribe’s mother)
This horoscope belongs to a famed singer of Karnatic state of India, and mother of scribe. She passed away on January 25, 1993 at the age of 66. This age falls under BCP Cycle Ruler Jupiter period. From Gemini lagna, Jupiter rules 7th and 10th houses and beautifully placed in 10th house. But here Jupiter stands for Maraka and Badhaka also. Furthermore, Jupiter is under aspectual influence of 12th lord Venus. Therefore Jupiter possesses killing propensity. Native died at age 66. It becomes 6th house from BCP Cycle Ruler Jupiter, i.e. Leo. This place (Leo) is aspected by 8th lord Saturn, while lord of Leo (Sun) is itself conjoined with Saturn and moksha karaka Ketu.
Conclusion

hrigu Chakra Paddhati (BCP) is one of the simplest yet robust forecasting tools. Experience shows BCP based longevity rules works well when judiciously applied with Cycle Rulers. Advocated rules have yielded satisfactory results on applied
cases. Lastly, these rules are outcome of my rigorous and continuous research. These rules
may have some limitations and conditions. Readers are requested to test these rules on greater of sample size so that a better longevity determination technique can be developed.

Now scribe reveals some more subtle rules for knowing year of death. Readers should be aware of the fact that BCP depends upon 12-year cycle. Hence one should first determine the probable age slab (i.e. short life, middle life or long life). This can be done through any standard Jyotish School, including Praveen Jagad, Laghu Thajaki, Satyacharya, Parashara or Jaimini teachings. Besides role of Saturn and Moon, the given rules also rely upon Maraka and Badhaka concepts. As per Parashara’s teachings, 7th and 2nd houses are Maraka-Sthana (deathinflicting houses) and their lords are called Maraka (killer planets). Natural benefic planets (especially Jupiter and Venus) whenever become “lord” of 7th and/or 2nd house, behave intense Maraka (killer) in their dashas. Natural malefic planets (Saturn, Mars, Sun, Rahu, Ketu) simultaneously assume role of Maraka, whenever “occupy” 7th and/or 2nd house. Badhaka is another notion of trouble-maker planets in Jyotish. For all moveable sign ascendants (Ari, Can, Lib, Cap), the 11th house stands for Badhaka-Sthana and its lord is called Badhakesha or Badhaka Planet. For all fixed sign ascendants (Tau, Leo, Sco, Aqu), the 9th house assumes role of Badhaka-Sthana. For all dual sign ascendants (Gem, Vir, Sag, Pis), the 7th house turns Badhaka-Sthana. BCP Rules for Finding Longevity Rule 3:
If ascendant is vacant, and 8th house is aspected by natural malefic planets
(Saturn, Mars, Sun, Rahu, Ketu) then death may take place in BCP year of house occupied by mentioned malefic planets, or their aspected house BCP year. Example: Rajneesh Osho Rule 4:
If ascendant is occupied by natural or functional malefic planets, then native
may pass away in BCP year of house occupied by Moon, or 8th from Moon. Example: Indira Gandhi, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Rule 5:
If ascendant is aspected by Badhaka or Maraka planets, then death may happen
in BCP year of 2nd or 7th house from natal ascendant, or 12th from Moon. Example: B.V. Raman Rule 6:
If 8th house is occupied by natural malefic planets (Saturn, Mars, Sun, Rahu,
Ketu) then native may breathe his last in BCP year of house that is aspected by said malefic planets. Example: Yogananda
Rule 7:
If 12th house be occupied by natural malefic planets (Saturn, Mars, Sun, Rahu,
Ketu), then death may take place in BCP year of house occupied by said malefics or their aspected house BCP year, or on natal ascendant. Example: Marilyn Monroe, Marri Chenna Reddy [Former Chief Minister of A.P. State, India] Rule 8:
If 2nd and 7th houses are occupied by natural malefic planets (Saturn, Mars,
Sun, Rahu, Ketu), then death may take place in BCP year of their occupied house, or their aspected house. Example: Ramana Maharshi Rule 9:
If ascendant is aspected by his Badhaka lord, then death may occur in BCP year
of house occupied by Badhaka planet. Example: Albert Einstein Rule 10:
If Badhaka is sitting in his own house then native dies in BCP year of house

If Rahu is placed in 8th house, and longevity falls in long age-group then
death may take place in BCP Cycle Ruler of Rahu or Kethu. (Here the Rahu acts akin to Saturn and bestows long span of life like Saturn). Example: Bertrand Russel [98 years], Swami Chandrasekhara [100 years] Now
Illustrations Case 1 – Marri Cheena Reddy
Here Rule No. 7 worked, as 12th house is occupied by malefic Saturn. Marri Chenna Reddy died at the age of 78. As per BCP, age 78 falls in 6th house. In this chart, Aquarius is 6th house which is directly aspected by Saturn (see Rule No. 7). Coincidently, the BCP Cycle Ruler also is Saturn.
Case 2 – Indira Gandhi
Here Rule No. 4 fits in, that says death in BCP year of Moon. She died at the age of 67. As per BCP, age 67 is equal to 7th house from ascendant (see the BCP table). Now, her natal Moon is placed in 7th house, and she died in BCP Moon year (Rule No.4). Similarly, according to BCP Cycle Ruler, age 67 becomes 7th house from Jupiter (i.e. Scorpio). Notice that Scorpio is also aspected by Mars from Maraka (2nd) house.
Case 3 – Rajneesh [Osho]
There is no planet in Taurus while 8th house is occupied by 3 malefic planets (Saturn, Mars and evil-associated Mercury). In this case, Rule No. 3 applied. Rajnesh Osho died at the age of 59. According to BCP, age 59 is analogous to 11th house. In this chart, 11th house is Pisces, which is aspected by Mars from 8th house of death. At the time of death (age 59), the BCP Cycle Ruler Mars comes in his cycle on Virgo which is aspected by Saturn with 10th aspect.
Here another special set is 5 planets are posited in mystic 8th house. Assemblage of five planets in 8th house made Rajnesh an unusual icon of religious world.
Case 4 – Rajendra Prasad
Here Rule No. 4 worked well. Here Sagittarius ascendant is occupied by natural malefic planet Mars, and functional malefic Mercury. Native passed away in BCP year of house occupied by Moon [Taurus] at the age of 78, in 1962.
Case 5 – B.V. Raman
Dr. B.V. Raman passed away on December 20, 1998. At the time of death, he was 86 years, 4 months and 12 days old. . According to BCP, it becomes age 87. Rule No. 5 is applied here. Ascendant is aspected by Maraka planet Mars, therefore death took place on the BCP of 3rd house which is the 12th of Moon. From BCP Cycle Ruler point-of-view, age 87 is equal to 3rd house from Rahu. Here 3rd from Rahu is Taurus where Moon as well as Saturn is placed.
Case 6 – Ramana Maharishi
This case agrees to Rule No. 8. Here 7th house occupied by natural malefic planet Saturn, while Mars in placed in 8th house therefore death took place at the age of 71 in 1950, on the BCP year of 11th house (Cancer) which is aspected by Mars.
Case 7 – Paramhamsa Yogananda

Rule No. 7 is applied here. The 12th house is occupied by malefic Rahu, therefore she died in BCP year of Rahu-occupied-house i.e. Gemini at the young age of 36, in 1962.

Here Rule No. 9 is fulfilled. Ascendant Gemini is aspected by his Badhaka lord Jupiter with 5th aspect. Here Rule No. 2 and Special Rule applied. Rahu occupies 8th, and longevity group falls into long life. Swami Chandrasekhar passed away at the ripe old age of 99, in 1994. At the time of his demise, BCP Cycle Ruler was Ketu, and the corresponding year lies in 3rd from Ketu (Scorpio). Apart from it, Rule No. 2 says if ascendant is vacant, death occurs in BCP house occupied by Moon. In this case, Moon is in Scorpio. Both are exactly same case.
Case 12 – Benazir Bhutto
Here Sagittarius ascendant is vacant therefore death happened in the year of BCP on Moon’s 8th house. She died in an assassination attack in December 2007, at the age of 54. According to BCP, age 54 is equal to 6th house. Here 6th house falls into Taurus, that is, 8th from natal Moon.

BCP with Cycle Rulers methodology says the first 12-year cycle is ruled by Moon, second 12-year cycle is ruled by Mercury, third by Venus, fourth by Sun, fifth by Mars, sixth by Jupiter, seventh by Saturn, eighth by Rahu and ninth by Ketu. Ascendant is Libra, and it is occupied by two planets (Jupiter and Moon). Therefore according to mentioned rule 1, native’s death may take place in the year of BCP where Saturn is domiciled. N.T. Rama Rao died on January 18, 1996 when age 72 was running. As per BCP, age 72 lies in 12th house from ascendant. As per BCP with Cycle Rulers, age 72 corresponds to 12th house from Jupiter. From both perspectives, it becomes Virgo. N.T.
Rama Rao exact age at the time of death was 71 years, 7 months and 20 days (72 years running). Notice that natal Saturn’s longitude is 20058’ Virgo while 12th house cusp falls at 21042’ Virgo.
Case 2 – Sri Satya Sai Baba (Puttaparthy) November 23, 1926; at 6:23:00 am (+5:30 GMT), Puttaparthy (77E45, 14N15), India
Ascendant is occupied. In fact, it is occupied by four planets (Sun, Venus, Saturn, and Mercury). So the death may take place in the BCP year corresponding to the house where Saturn is placed as per Rule 1 . Sri Satya Sai Baba breathed his last on April 24, 2011 when he was running age 85 (to be exact, 84 years, 3 months). As per BCP, age 85 is equal to 1st house. In Sri Satya Sai Baba chart Saturn is sitting in 1st house. As per BCP with Cycle Rulers, age 85 corresponds to 1st house from Rahu which is in the 8th of death from Ascendant.
Case 3 – M.S. Savithri November 21, 1927, at 9:30:00 pm (+5:30 GMT), Guduru (80E59, 16N27), India
Gemini is ascendant. Since no planet occupying the ascendant therefore death may take place in the BCP year corresponding to the house where Moon is placed or 5th/6th/8th from Moon. She died on January 25, 1993, when age 66 was running (65 years, 2 months, 3 days). According to BCP, age 66 falls into 6th house. In this horoscope, 6th house is Scorpio, which is neither occupied by Moon, nor be 5th/6th/8th from Moon. Despite the vacant 2
ascendant, 6th house (Scorpio) is occupied by Saturn . Since the age at the time of death is 66 therefore Cycle Ruler is Jupiter that lords the age-group 61 to 72 in all charts. Here Jupiter is very powerful in rashi and navamsa, but it is simultaneously a maraka for Gemini lagna.

No planet is in the ascendant. Hence, as per given rule, the death may take place in the year of BCP corresponding to the house where Moon is placed or 5th/6th/8th from Moon. Sastry passed away on November 3, 1969, at the age of 81 (to be exact 80 years, 9 months, 13 days). According to BCP, age 81 falls into 9th house. In Sastry’s horoscope, 9th house (Aries) is occupied by Moon. The Cycle Ruler at the time of death is Saturn. It is relegated in 12th house Cancer (enemy sign) with Rahu.
Case 5 – K.S. Krishnamurhty (Astrologer) November 1, 1908, at 12:11:00 pm (+5:30 GMT), Thirivaiyyur (79E06, 10N53), T.N., India
Since ascendant is occupied therefore death may take place in the BCP year corresponding to the house where Saturn is placed. Krishnamurhty passed away on March 30, 1972 when he was under currency of age 64 (to be exact, at 63 years, 3 months and 29 days). As per BCP, age 64 equals to 4th house. However, 4th house (Aries) in Krishnamurhty’s chart is not occupied by Saturn. Actually, Saturn is placed in 3rd house (Pisces). Hence advocated longevity rule does not fit here.
Now looking longevity from BCP with Cycle Ruler. Jupiter is the cycle ruler (chakra swami) for 12-year cycle that starts from age 61 and ends at 71 (see the table above). Cycle Ruler Jupiter occupies the 8th house-Leo, and aspecting 4th house-Aries (age 64). Here one point is noteworthy. Age 64 as per BCP falls in Aries ruled by Mars. While age 64 as per BCP with Cycle Ruler falls in Scorpio (4th from Jupiter) also ruled by Mars. Note Mars is in debilitation in navamsa (D9).
Case 6 – Rajiv Gandhi August 20, 1944, at 7:11:00 am (+5:30 GMT), Mumbai (72E50, 18N58), India
Ascendant is occupied therefore it is feared that death may occur in BCP year where Saturn is occupied. Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated on May 21, 1991 at the age of 47. According to BCP, age 47 falls into 11th house from lagna. In this chart, 11th house (Gemini) is domiciled by Saturn.
