Departure from Beirut early morning with Turkish Airlines at 06:30, Arriving Istanbul at 08:25, Transfers connection and proceed to Lisbon at 11:50, Arriving 14:50, Meet & Transfers to Hotel Hotel Sana Metropolitan. Free afternoon on your own to discover Lisbon, Dinner and overnight.
Day 2/ 18-08-2016: Lisbon – CasCais – Estoril - Lisbon
After Breakfast, Full day excursion to Fatima centre of the Christian faith and world Pilgrimage sanctuary with its impressive Basilica and Cova da Iria where the virgin Mary Appeared and the Chapen of the Apparitions, proceed to Cascais and Estoril to the romantic village of Sintra - visit to the Royal Palace (01 entrance fee included) and walking tour. Then drive to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point in continental Europe, from where you can enjoy a superb view over the Atlantic Ocean. Day 3/ 19-08-2016: Lisbon – Seville
After Breakfast, departure by private motorcoach through Range of Mountains Beja the Most important Alcornocal area of Europe and Portuguese Border to arrival Spain. Arrival Seville, dinner and overnight at Hotel Tryp Macarena.
Day 4/ 20-08-2016: Seville
After Breakfast, Full Day City Tour of Seville including the Cathedral and Alcazar. Explore the most important monuments and areas of the city with our sightseeing tour. Discover the charm of Hispanic-Muslim architecture that is all around the city, walk along the shore of the Guadalquivir, great king of Andalusia, or enjoy the best views of the city from the top of the Giralda. Day 5/ 21-08-2016: Seville – Cordoba - Granada
After Breakfast, Departure to Cordoba , walking city tour Roman Bridge, Jewish Quarter, Mosque (famous monument in the Islamic West, built on an ancient mosque and the materials of the Christian basilica of San Vicente), and Synagogue from outside . Continue to Granada, arrival and visit The Alhambra's Islamic palaces were built for the last Muslim emirs in Spain and its court of the Nasrid dynasty. After the Reconquista by the Reyes Católicos ("Catholic Monarchs") in 1492, some portions were used by Christian rulers. The Palace of Charles V, built by Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor in 1527, was inserted in the Alhambra within the Nasrid fortifications. After being allowed to fall into disrepair for centuries, the Alhambra was rediscovered in the 19th century by European scholars and travelers, with restorations commencing. It is now one of Spain's major tourist attractions, exhibiting the country's most significant and well known Arab-Islamic architecture, together with 16th-century and later Christian building and garden interventions. Day 6/ 22-08-2016: Granada – Toledo - Madrid
After Breakfast, Departure to Toledo. Toledo, a beautiful city-museum declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is one of the oldest towns in Europe and has a great artistic beauty and buildings from almost all periods in history (Arabian, Gothic, Mudejar, Renaissance and Baroque style). Toledo is called the “City of the Three Cultures”, since Christians, Muslims and Jews lived together. In the XVI century, it was also the place of residence of the great painter ElGreco. Outside view of the Cathedral; Church of St. Tomé with El Entierro del señor de Orgaz, demonstration of the famous technique of damascene (incrustation of precious metals in steel) and panoramic sightseeing of Toledo. Day 9/ 25-08-2016: Barcelona
After Breakfast, Full Day Morning excursion to Montserrat Start your trip to the mountain of Montserrat which rises majestically up to 4,051 feet (1,236 meter). The rocks of Montserrat formed by natural cement of sand during the centuries affected by the wind and rain who shaped the mountain with strange and varied forms. Today, Montserrat has been modernized to continue attending to the needs to pilgrims one thousand years after it was originally founded. Afternoon city tour Barcelona with Sagrada Familia Church Barcelona offers the possibility to enjoy the sea as well as the mountains. Julia Travel proposes an itinerary that will allow you to enjoy the most emblematic sights the city has to offer. We will start with a sightseeing tour from the bus that will take you up the elegant Passeig de Gràcia, where you will see the most famous Gaudi houses, casa Batlló and La casa Mila (La Pedrera) as well as other majestic buildings of the Modernism era. We will take you to the sea where you will be able to admire the intense changes the city underwent with the organisation of the Olympic Games in 1992. You will drive by the Olympic Village, the Olympic Port, the beach and the fisherman’s quarter, called Barceloneta, the Port Vell, Plaza (square) de Colon with its famous Columbus monument, indicating which way he sailed to discover the Americas. This point is also the beginning of the famous Ramblas of Barcelona. We will continue the visit driving up Montjuïc where you will enjoy a cable car ride with precious views of the city. The bus will pick you up at the last station and we will continue our Montjuïc visit passing by the sports facilities built for the 1992 Olympic Games: the Lluis Companys stadium, the Palau Sant Jordi, we will leave the Montjuïc behind and go back down to the city centre. During the drive back to the city centre you will be able to admire the Venetian Towers, the Montjuïc fountains, the MNAC and the CC, Las Arenas rebuilt over the ancient Plaza de Toros. We will arrive at the Plaza de Catalunya, the starting point of the guided walking tour of the old city centre. Our guide will take you to the Gothic Cathedral, threw the narrow street of the Gothic quarter and plaza Sant Jaume where the City hall is located and the headquarters of the Catalonian government. Our tour finishes at the Plaza de Catalunya Gaudí, one of the greatest innovators of his time, has left behind numerous treasures for the discerning tourist to discover in Barcelona. Discover this magnificent modernist building in the guided tour inside the church. Sagrada Família has a Latin cross plan with five aisles, richly and symbolically decorated, its vaults reach up seventy meters. Later on, we will stop by the Sagrada Família's museum, where you will see drawings, plaster models and pictures about the history and development of this basilica from its early beginnings to the present day.
