HOW I CRUSHED MY CHRISTMAS SHOPPING THIS YEAR!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
I live for the holidays. Yes, I’m that person! Let’s talk Christmas shopping before thanksgiving is over There is nothing more exciting than getting into the Christmas spirit. One month is simply not enough, the earlier the better.
As soon as Halloween was over, I was already asking my family members and friends what they would like for Christmas Most of the time their answers were “I have no idea” but getting a start this early will help you incredibly. You start to notice if they need anything or if something just happened to break. I consider all these things when making my list. I love giving gifts that not only will they enjoy but will actually use Y’all Christmas shopping can be stressful, here are 3 helpful tips to help organize your Christmas shopping:
1. Make a list of all the people you would like to get a Christmas gift.
2. Write down gift ideas for specific people with a price range per gift so you are aware of the cost before your purchase. We don’t want any scary surprises later.
3 Research the best prices and places to buy those gifts.
Many times, you can find the same item for a better price if you investigate it rather than be left with the more expensive option because you waited until the last minute
Start shopping now, don’t wait until the last minute! Things will be harder to find, and you will most likely end up buying something else. During this holiday season, most things are on sale and are going quick I hope these short and simple tips help you this holiday season, you can thank me later!

3 FUN AND INEXPENSIVE THINGS TO DO THIS HOLIDAY SEASON
The Holiday season is one of my favorite times of the year It is a time where friends and family come together to play games, eat good food, and share special moments. I know the Holiday season can be stressful, there is so much to do and it’s hard to balance school, work, and any other activities in your daily life.
Don’t worry, I got you Here are 3 fun and inexpensive things to do this holiday.
1. Host a Christmas movie night!
- Movie nights are always fun, but a Christmas movie night is better Make a list of all your favorite Christmas movies and set up your living room with fun pillows and blankets to create the perfect theatre
2. Build a gingerbread house!
- This is a great way to spend some time with your friends and family and make something beautiful. Making a gingerbread house can be tricky and will be very time consuming. I recommend buying the home kits from target or Walmart for a smooth outcome
3. Go pick out a real Christmas tree!
- This is one of my favorite holiday activities. You can make an entire day of it. Go to your local Christmas tree farm and pick a tree that will suit your house This will take some time but is a good excuse to spend the day with your family Most of these farms have other fun activities to participate in like buying hot chocolate and churros while you look at the pretty Christmas lights.
I know the Holiday season can be expensive with all the Christmas shopping, events, and parties. Doing fun things doesn’t have to be expensive, especially if you’re with those you love I hope these tips inspire you to go out and enjoy this holiday season.

CHRISTMAS HOME DECOR INSPIRATION
DEC. 4, 2022
Decorating your house for the holidays can be stressful and expensive, but it doesn’t have to be. One of my favorite things about having my own house is being able to decorate it and make it a home. What better occasion than the holidays.
I can spend hours scrolling through Pinterest for home decor inspiration and DIYs to help encourage me to decorate my house this holiday season. Regardless of the style and aesthetic you have, there are a few must haves’ pieces to incorporate when decorating for the Holidays.
Must haves:
- Stockings: are essential for a Christmas decorated home, even if you don’t have a fireplace. Find a place where you can hang cute on theme stockings. Create multiuse stockings by packing them with candy and other treats until Christmas Eve.
- Garland: is a great way to incorporate some life into your home while staying on theme with the holidays. I recommend using real garland to get the most out of it. The pine and outdoor smell of real garland will make you think you are in real life Christmas movie.
- Red and Green Christmas Tree: is key to that homey Christmas feeling. Sometimes sticking to the basics is the best thing you can do. This combo will give you that comfortable homey feeling around the holidays.
Home decor is so broad and objective to the home and those that live in it. However, these three things are my must haves to a perfectly decorated home for the holidays. The most important part about decorating for the holidays is filling your home with things that transport you to a place of comfort, so whatever that may be for you don’t forget to incorporate these 3 things!

IT’S BEGINNING TO TASTE A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS!
The Holiday season is my favorite excuse to spend hours in my kitchen baking anything from gingerbread cookies to tamales, pozole, or something as simple as the holiday special drinks at Starbucks to get me in the holiday spirit. As if thanksgiving was not enough, Christmas comes with endless delicious treats and baked goods that I simply can’t resist.
Here are a few of my favorite things to bake for the holidays:
- Cookies, what would Christmas be without some homemade cookies. From Chocolate chip cookies to gingerbread cookies, they are a must in my house. These are super simple and easy to make, I recommend shaping them into Christmas trees for that extra holiday spirit.
- No bake desserts: these are a great way to keep things festive. Pinterest has some of my favorite decorative no bake desserts to take to family events and parties that will leave your guest speechless with how cute they turn out.
- Tamales: are a must in my house for the holidays. Ever since I was a little girl my grandmother would make homemade tamales for Christmas Eve. That tradition slowly got passed down to my mom and I will be sure to continue it with my family.

3 SIMPLE TIPS TO HELP YOU STAY FIT DURING THE HOLIDAYS
ANA VILLARREAL
Staying fit during the holidays can be extremely hard and may even seem impossible. The holidays are basically a food fest from Thanksgiving to Christmas to New Years, it’s no wonder that by the start of the new year our pants start to feel tighter. Let’s make sure that it’s different this year.
Here are a few tips to help you stay on track and regulate those overindulging tendencies for the holidays.
- Schedule a time to work out. I know that with the holidays come parties and events that make it difficult to find time to exercise. If you schedule your day in advance even if it is a 30-minute workout you are more likely to achieve it.
- Find creative ways to be active. The holidays are all about spending time with your friends and family. Plan fun activities like walking through your neighborhood to see the Christmas lights to help keep you active. Attend a Christmas festival at a park or go holiday shopping and get those steps in.
- Eat sensibly: this doesn’t mean to restrain from your favorite holiday treats and meals but be conscious of your portion sizes and overindulgences. It is easy to get carried away with delicious treats and meals that your family makes a few times a year, don’t let that be an excuse to lose your self-control.
This holiday season lets set goals and keep each other accountable for all the feasting that is going to take place. Make sure to stay hydrated and be conscious of all the little treats and meals we eat. This doesn’t mean to deprive yourself from your favorite meals, enjoy all the delicious food with your friends and family this holiday season, together let’s make smart choices! https://www proform com/blog/ stay-fit-holidays/
