The projected area is located in the central part of Kazan city. The western border adjoin the Volga River, the eastern one - to the city center. In the south, the site is bordered by a river port and bus terminal. The site is a buffer zone between the three main transport hubs of the city center railway, bus and river stations. The proposal includes the detailed development of three diffrent functional zones: the entrance zone, the central site and the playground. Bionic architecture in the context of pine forest as itself is a landmark and the part of identity of Primorsky District. The main concept is “quick wins�: how to create a comfotable, accessible living environment without frills . Main principles of the project: 1. Transperency Visual coherence and the absence of fences 2. Main goal of the Thesis is to solve transportation problems in the city of Ryazan. Solution is to remove the railway paths and associated facilities from the city center. On the former railway territory is planned to construct the park, residential blocks, administrative and public areas. The main railway path is transformed into a high-speed tram line. The former Ryazan-2 railway station renovated into a new transport HUB.

The territory is sited in the center of Izhevsk and is located at a panoramic elevation relative to the Izhevsk pond. The basis of the territory is a closed residential complex and an apartment-hotel, divided by a driveway. Buffer and transit alleys serve as the base connection. Alley adjoins to the hotel, the first floor of which is proposed to be given for commerce. Transit alley connects st. Karl Marx and the Summer Garden. The arrangement of pedestrian zones and retail, will positively affect the safety of the quarter, and will also become a driver for the development of the district.

Norilsk is the most populated city in the far north. The city has almost 200 thousand inhabitants. The majority of citizens are anyhow connected to the metallurgical factory of Norilsk Nickel. The city exists despite the range of climatic factors: permafrost, winds reaching more than 30 meters per second, polar day and night, heavy snowfall. Since metallurgical reserves have been explored for decades ahead, city needs a new strategy for development of urban environment. The Region is characterized by possible growth of business activity and development of knowledge economy and R&D.
