November 2019

Second Annual Author and Small Press Fair Celebrate reading local at the Story Lines Author and Small Press Fair on Saturday, December 7 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Anderson Main Library. Over 20 authors and small press publishers will be at the Anderson Main Library to meet and talk with readers and have books available for purchase. It’s the perfect chance to do some holiday shopping while supporting local authors such as Emily B. Martin (Creatures of Light series), Catherine Jones Payne (Broken Tides series and Fire Dancer), Scott Sharpe (A Wild Eden), and Kathryn Smith (Gertie: The Fabulous Life of Gertrude Sanford Legendre, Heiress, Explorer, Socialite, Spy). Small press publishers include Clemson University Press and Ninety-Six Press from Furman University. Clemson

University Press’s catalog of books highlights the critical and creative output of Clemson University, and NinetySix Press has been publishing collections of poetry by South Carolina authors since 1994. Additional authors will be at the event with books available for purchase and signing. For a complete list of authors at this event, visit www.andersonlibrary.org/story -lines. The Story Lines Author Fair is the perfect event for discovering new books, for aspiring writers to meet and network, and for holiday gift shopping while supporting local authors, artists, and businesses.

All locations will be closed on November 11 for Veterans Day, will close at 6:00 pm on November 27, and will be closed November 28 and November 29 for Thanksgiving. TWEENS PODCASTING
