Fees for lost or damaged materials s�ll apply. Being fine-free doesn’t mean books can be kept indefinitely. Materials not returned a�er 60 days are considered lost, and you’ll be charged for the cost of the item un�l it is returned or paid for. You will also be charged for materials returned damaged. You will s�ll be no�fied when materials are due. It’s good for the community and good for the library. Elimina�ng overdue fines makes it easier for all members of our community to access the library’s materials and services. Ques�ons? Ask staff!

All libraries will be closed Sunday, July 4 and Monday, July 5 for Independence Day. Masks and social distancing are strongly encouraged in the libraries. Per CDC guidelines, those who have not been vaccinated, who are immunocompromised or have underlying health conditions are strongly encouraged to wear a mask for their own safety.

CHILDREN AGES 6-12 BARK: Read to Therapy Dogs Through July 30, children can practice building reading skills and confidence by reading a book to a registered therapy dog from SC Dog Therapy Group. Summer Stock Exchange, ages 9-18 Learn about the stock market and cryptocurrency with a mock stock exchange. See how your “stocks” are doing Tuesdays and Fridays June 29-July 30, then cash out at the end for your candy winnings. Play rec room games like air hockey, ping pong, pool and foosball. Thurs, July 1 | 5pm • Anderson Main Move It Challenge: Water Balloons and Bicycle Rodeo ages 9-18 Race to fill up water balloons, then play water balloon volleyball. Or try to make it through the bicycle obstacle course. There will be bikes available for ages 6-18, but you can bring your own. Remember your helmet, too. Learn the warning signs, facts, and resources for teens struggling with mental health conditions with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). Parents, guardians, educators, and others working with teens will learn about resources and effective tools for helping teens. Teens will hear from peer mentors and learn about resources available to them. All attendees will make their own buttons and t-shirts for the "Go Lime Green" campaign. Light refreshments provided. ARTS, CRAFTS, & DIY Paper Terrarium with Paper Succulent Love monthly take-and-make crafts? Learn how we do it! For July, make and assemble a paper terrarium using a Cricut. In this hour class, learn about the different DNA tests and DNA testing companies that are available including AncestryDNA, FamilyTree DNA, MyHeritage DNA, 23andMe DNA, and Living DNA.
