Housing and Poverty in Anderson County A community discussion of Evicted by Ma�hew Desmond Ma�hew Desmond’s 2016 Pulitzer Prize-winning book Evicted follows the nightmarish reality of eight families struggling to keep their homes. Join the Anderson County Library System for conversa�ons on the book and the impact of poverty and insecure housing on Anderson’s residents, including over 800 school-age children.
