Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey Adult Biography In a philosophical and humble memoir, McConaughey chronicles a surprisingly tough childhood with quirky humor that extends into his various Hollywood antics, including the infamous Bongo drum incident. For an added bonus, listen to McConaughey’s own narration for the audiobook. It’s more than “alright, alright, alright.” IQ by Joe Ide Adult Fiction IQ takes on the cases of the roughest neighborhood in LA that the police either won’t or can’t solve. High school dropout and loner, IQ uses his incredible intellect to solve his cases, charging those in the neighborhood whatever they can afford to pay him. Gritty and procedural, this series follows the one-word title rule and is one wild ride! Grown by Tiffany D. Jackson Young Adult Fiction Grown takes young teen Enchanted’s perspective as she soars into stardom following the discovery of her voice by an R&B mogul at a singing contest. Pulling some inspiration from the R.Kelly allegations, Jackson shows how easy it can be for a teen to fall prey to an older man, especially when he holds your dreams in his hands.
