EXCELSO IS WELL KNOWN COFFEE BRAND FROM INDONESIA. IT HAS LOT OF STORE IN INDONESIA. THE IDENTITY OF INDONESIAN COFFEE IS THE IMPORTANT THING TO THIS COMPANY TO BE EXPRESSED ON ITS’ STORE DESIGN. BEING ONE OF THE PREMIUM COFFEE BRAND IS THE CHALLENGE FOR US TO PRESENT THE EXCELLENT DESIGN PURPOSE.
I joined this Korean Design Consultant in 2022 as a Senior Designer. My responsibility is to deliver an excellent design outcome. Aside the awesome design proposal, I also have to secure the client’s budget.
Coordination is one of the important in this company, regarding most of the stakeholders are Foreigner.

VIP LOUNGE is designed with the dimmed light ambience which aim to create more intimate feeling for our guest. Various type of seating is proportionally plotted inside not only for aesthetically purpose but also to maximize its function. White mosaic table top is selected to enhance the food and beverage on the table. Lighting configuration is carefully chosen using spotted light which is focused only on the table.
Curved Ceiling design inspired by the european garden house is intentionally added giving more spacious space. Black color ceiling is giving a stage for the illuminated ceiling became the main focus.
DANCING ROOM is one of the requirement given by the owner. It is a hall with moveable lighted stool. Lighting design in this space has to be colorful and attractive Laser light, changing color light, and projection light are applied here.
The Ambience of classical building with arch and lot of detail profil is mixed with decorative in modern approach, i.e. glass, lighted furniture, and angel wings decoration.
In order to maximize the space, we choose moveable lighted stools. It is made from white resin which is able to translucent the changing color LED inside. The stools configuration can be adjusted based on the event’s needs.

MODERN and CLEAN are the key idea for design transformation on this project. White color is mostly dominate the whole area. Texture and color accent well balanced with white color domination. White oak wood is our selection to against the cold feeling effect of white color. One huge illuminated surface on the ceiling is taking a big role functionally as a general lighting on the working station and enhance the modern ambience.
Space zoning between public to private zone is divined by its distance from the lobby. The more private is a room, such as Director room, is placed in the corner of the space and the meeting room is zoned near the lobby.
the LOBBY has a curved terracotta wall as a main feature welcoming all the staff and the guest. White terazzo floor, white ceiling, white wallpaper, and white terazzo reception counter are purposely added for giving a more spacious feeling.
Next to the reception counter, there is a lounge area where the guest can sit while waiting for the appoinment.
Behind the Lobby, there is pantry and meeting room. The meeting room is located near the lobby by considering the public and private access.

INNOCEAN WORLWIDE is well-known for its collaboration with automotive brands, in Indonesia is Hyundai. Showing off its DNA as a part of automotive comany, we present the touch of industrial design mixed with modern design approach. the Road-Map of their Journey and the Worlwide Map placed on the wall welcoming the guest. Exposed white brick wall textured and walnut wood color are being dominant for the wall finishes. White terazzo is seamlessly merged all of the rooms and giving the space more spacious feels.
After the Lobby, there is a communal room called BREAKOUT-Area. It has a pantry with a long communal table which possibly become the space where all staff gather and talk each other.
There is also a GAME-Room that is available for all staff even for the guest. In the center of the space has few pairs of Loose Furnitures that moveable for multipurpose activity
Entering the meeting & conference room will have a little bit different design with the previous rooms. The floor is covered with custom design axminster. Wooden wall on the TV side is continuously through the ceiling. Stainless steel accent in the furniture and on the wall-ceiling gives a modern touch and well balanced the wooden element.
Illuminated surface on the ceiling takes a role for general lighting and also part of design element in the meeting & conference room. An eclectic wall art is mounted on the wall to give a youth color in the space.
the WORKING SPACE we designed to have a comfortable feeling with modern touch. Light color domination is well mixed with leather and walnut wood accent. Subtle floor carpet tile pattern is selected to give more relaxing ambience.

TAIKOOLI SANLITUN, in Beijing, China, is one of the most popular destination for fashion. Various well known fashion brands, mostly high-end brand, are open their stall in this shopping center. It has a unique design concept for retailer which mostly all of the lease area is a shopping arcade. Plaza and open-air alley are connecting each store rather than located in a big massive building.
LET’S FASHION FORWARD is a fashion exhibition that is annually held in Taikoo Li Sanlitun. 2023 concept is “FASHION FORWARD”. Forward logo, double triangle, represent the given concept. Based on our study, we also determined the colors selection. The main target of the event is gen z and millenial who likes to explore their fashion. Striking and Bold colors, i.e. Neon green, Pink, and Blue, are the ideas to present youth vibes.
Design transformation has to be focused on creating a well balanced proportion between the selected geometric and colors. Double triangle are metamorphose into a lot of different design component and features.

HYUNDAI has its own identity for color, style, and ambience which is hard to describe but easy to be noticed. Combination of wood, grey and white tone color, and also touch of greenery are some of the key designing this company’s space. For example, This room concept applied to every corner in the office layout and connected directly with work spaces, this simply treatment to provide accent, function and relaxation for guest of the companies or just for having short time meeting.
Providing different experiences while working, we design same function space in different design transform. The design is not only provide a space for work individually but also a space for collaborative and creative thinking. Meeting room is usually a closed space for discussion. To maximize the given space for multipurpose activity, we design a flexible space which is able to change from an open space into close space. Various type design for meeting room is a trigger to boost the creativity

The building is made up of a series of stacked boxes, each of which is a different size and shape. The boxes are connected to each other by bridges and walkways, creating a network of interconnected spaces. The different sizes and shapes of the boxes create a dynamic and visually interesting composition, while the connecting bridges and walkways provide a sense of flow and movement. Boxes are a versatile and efficient shape that can be used to create a variety of different spaces.
Interior concept will determine the “DEVELON DNA”, which applied on many visual merchandising, signage and furniture color palette. Futuristic interior design with black color, concrete, and metal combination will create a bold and stylish choice that can create a sleek, modern space.
