It takes 6 months, a budget, and a vast team - sin mencionar the willingness to do it - para realizar una colección en la actualidad. A esta ecuación réstale 3 meses, un budget, y reduce el team a 2 personas, luego, agrégale finales universitarios, cambios de zonas horarias, incontables peleas verbales, y tendrás como resultado una iniciativa destinada al rubro textil y de diseño llamada Ninety3some, colectiva y prueba viviente de un proyecto joven empezado desde cero. Con la intención de iniciar una revolución creativa local para nuevas generaciones, Ninety3Some se embarca en este proyecto el cual inicia como una prueba personal para ambos directores creativos. Hoy, meses después nos encontramos iniciando el montaje de nuestro lanzamiento en tierras panameñas. En este zine encontraras un grupo de personas -incluyéndonos- que vivimos presionando: CTRL+ALT+Z en nuestras computadoras hasta llegar a esa década en donde cada uno de nosotros experimentó parte de su adolescencia o infancia, los 90’s. Nuestra propuesta mezcla lo morfológico y lo visual con el deseo de apuntar to those parts of our subconciousness que generan en todos un sentimiento de nostalgia y un viaje a ese pasado que con all its small things, de alguna manera u otra nos hace sonreír. Teniendo estos recuerdos pasados en nuestro presente confirman nuestra razón de ser, nuestras raíces y levantan esas ganas de seguir en medio del chaos de la modernidad. Usar Ninety3some habilita al ser humano a transgredir la dicotomía armoniosa, que analizada por Guillaume Erner, habla de nuestra necesidad de pertenecer - a la sociedad- y a la misma ser capaces de diferenciarnos.
