La perfection est atteinte, non pas lorsqu’il n’y a plus rien à ajouter, mais lorsqu’il n’y a plus rien à retirer. Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
oltre il limite Trento, MUSE 11.2014_05.2015 Glas Architettura Photo: © Francesca Padovan The topic of exceeding the limit is treated in terms of exhibition design choices, favoring a contextual approach built from the relationship (visual and functional) that the intervention sets with large rectangular room, located at the eastern end of the organism museum designed by Renzo Piano. The arrangement of the wooden beams of the roof, the arrangement of pillars and beams help to strengthen the character of “oriented” space, imposing a strong leadership in the visual construction of the space. The idea is therefore to set up an exhibition to deform without hiding the space of the room and simultaneously to virtually expand the perimeter boundaries. The concept of the limit will be the size of the space as given, while the light (the projections and visual artifices connected to it) reduces the material consistency, indicating a way for overcoming it.

mateinitaly Milan, Triennale Musen of design 09.2014_11.2014 Glas Architettura Photo: Š Fabrizio Marchesi The exhibition is designed as a place of passage, an initiatory path towards knowledge of mathematics and mathematicians who, with their theoretical production, contributed to the progress of mathematics as a discipline declined sharply in the social context. The theme is derived from the curatorial need to create an environment characterized as a transition between areas of light and shade, between immersive spaces and open environments. The primary elements are the curtains separations that let you integrate the spaces, regulating the paths fruition according to the curatorial needs while allowing an encroachment of the gaze towards unforeseen visual perspectives.

We thought to propose a concept of the open and plural city able to anticipate how to use it and where it is possible to bring together the streams of residents with streams of people in these areas who work or want to visit them, for pleasure or interest. The open design allows you to modulate a wide range of spatial and functional offerings. The articulation of the buildings is calibrated in order to a fluid and positive perception of the spaces. With variations, the centrality takes place in different areas, depending on programs and activities that are offered of “scenarios. Life scenarios are rich and complex, made at the same time the presence of work activities and related to leisure, recreation and services, public and private; in short, to housing.
