Andrea Linarte Architect

Hello!

My passion for design was born as a child, which led me to choose architecture as what I want to practice for the rest of my life.

I am a person who enjoys to learn and I do it quickly. Over the years I have acquired social skills that help me develop quickly and I look for different alternatives to solve a problem.

I am attentive to details, creative and curious, I work well in a team and I am always willing to learn.

Nueva Estación - Centro Deportivo y Cultural, is part of a series of projects designed by the government of the municipalities of Tequisquiapan and San Juan del Río. This project is located in Tequisquiapan, Qro.

The concept consists of creating a connection space between the present and the past. What we seek is to create a link between the roots of the old train station and the future Tequisquiapan that continues to grow.

With this in mind, the shape of the spaces is inspired by a tree in a more contemporary way that we find in the columns of the buildings in the project, alluding to the roots that must be had to aspire to tomorrow.

The main structure of the project is made up of a series of columns that support the roofs that cover the buildings of the project.

These are made up of an HSS beam in the center surrounded by bamboo and fixed with steel sheets. Next to the HSS beam there is a pipe that drains rainwater to a biodigester that filters the water to be reused to irrigate the green areas that function as urban furniture.

Raíces is a research and educational center that seeks to be a catalyst to raise awareness of caring for the environment.

The project is proposed in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato in the Botanical Garden “El Charco del Ingenio” which is a space for conservation. The challenge consists in the definition of landscape and how we can take the vision of “El Charco” from another perspective to make a proposal that is consistent and respectful of the pre-existing conditions.

The program starts from a germplasm bank, which is a space that allows the genetic diversity of a crop to be conserved. From this “heart” it unleashes the research and education program.

Seed improvement experiments as well as seed storage would be carried out at the research center. In the learning area, the aim is to raise awareness among visitors through subterranean immersion in the germplasm bank and the existence of interactive workshops for better information retention.

SCIENCE EDUCATION

The germplasm bank is located underground taking advantage of the pre-existing herd directly connected to the learning and science area.

In addition, its location works as a tool for the conservation of seeds in a matter of temperature and sun exposure.

The learning area was proposed in the Treasury as a reference to the connection that one has with the cultural roots of the place.

The objective was to leave the helmet without touching the walls, thus respecting the preexistence.

This project is the final delivery of the concentration in Advanced Architecture, whose characteristic has the power to propose an architectural solution that could respond to current needs and future needs.

With this in mind, the “Nenúfar Cultural Center” was born, which proposes a sustainable option with high structural technology that allows responding to current and future architectural needs; in which the city can be rebuilt without the need to waste the previously allocated materials.

This project is located in Atlmpa, in the Cuahutémoc delegation of Mexico City, the challenge was to be able to propose an innovative space but not leaving aside the memory of the area.

The structural system of the cultural center is a biomimetic interpretation of the Amazonian Water Lily plant.

The proposed structure is a system based on column and slab, which supports the load of large spans through its ribs rooted in the column which, due to its shape, allows the entry of light that casts shadows from the water lily on the ground.

NEW STRUCTURAL PROPOSAL
Steel column Columna de acero

Cultural workshops were chosen since, after the site investigation, we concluded that the Atlampa community was made up almost entirely of vendors and workers from the surrounding factories, this does not favor the lives of the families that reside in the area. zone.

With the workshops you can start the process of social reactivation and therefore improve security.

The auditorium is part of the two important nodes of the project, it has characteristics of an amphitheater with the same premise of reusing materials from previous industrial buildings.

Objectives:

The chosen floor has the quality of greater ease of cleaning.

The central path of stones helps to absorb rainwater that falls from the roof.

The vegetation was chosen based on the climatic characteristics, so the Sansevieria was the most prevalent plant, providing clean air.

In addition, a semi-roofed space with a steel pergola was proposed to give the space versatility and to be able to host meetings with friends.
