3YEARS OF REAL INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE IN A WIDE RANGE OF ARCHITECTURE AND ENGINEERING OFFICES.
OVER 60 PROJECTS ACROSS MANY SECTORS WITHIN THE LAST FIVE YEARS
ANDREA MAUGERI ABOUT ME Born in Sicily in 1989. With a strong intrest in the artistic and architectural disciplines, started my academic career on 2008 and got first degree on 2012 in Science of Architecture and Engineering with final project about Urban and territorial analisys in Sicily. On 2015 Got Master degree in Sustainable Architecture in Polytecnic of Turin. Final project about Reuse and Innovation Architecture inside Past Architecture in Sicily. I consider myself to be a creative and highly motivated individual. Adaptable and quick to learn, I work well in a team and thrive on working in a challenging environment. With a background in art and design and experience in the industry, I have a real enthusiasm for design and an innovative approach towards architecture. Myprofessionalexperience to date has been varied, and I have had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across many sectors and at all stages of the design process, often to tight deadlines and budgets. Working abroad and specialising in ‘International Architecture, Regeneration and Development has given me a more global perspective on architecture and I am now seeking to further my professional experience in the UK.
MY APPROACH
TYPES OF WORKS
I belive that a good method and a good organization is the base for a good job. Step by step it’s possibe to solve every problem.
ARCHITECTURE based on my studies and international experience, my architectural design has been influenced and evolved during the last yeras. Each project needs to be processed and analized from a different point of view. Relation with the site, surrounding architecture, budget and use. A well done architectural design is based on sketches, analysis, technical drawings and construction details, in order to realize a complete and efficent project.
Each project needs to be studied from differents point of view to understand and find the best solution. Research, Analisys and focus are the first steps for start. Sketchs, diagrams and models to understand the space and the proportions. Technical drawings, bills of quantities, final documentation and visualizations to complete the job. But all of this it’s impossible without a team. The exchange of views and the continuous improvement is the real strength of a project.
/
MASTERPLANNING - LANDSCAPE / Site
analysis , viability analysis, solar study, social analysis, landmark, are just some of the data that are taken into account in the completion of a project on a large scale. Playback in the form of conceptual models and interactive maps allow to understand the scale of the project and all its parts.
/
REUSE Sustainable design is not limited to the use of renewable energies but also the reuse of spaces and places in a state of neglect. The past architecture reuse allows the enhancement of a place and the rediscovery of past cultures in relation with modern culture. For this kind of design requires knowledge of tools and relief programs, knowledge of architectural degradation and the study of materials and new technologies. INTERIOR DESIGN - RETAIL / Several interior

design projects. From 30 to 400 sqm for private residences, internal arrangement of different shops and exhibition areas. Realization of concepts, sketches, 3D visualization and final designs for common residential buildings areas, offices and public places. Study and analysis of costs of materials and colors. Contact with the customer and the manufacturer.
/
RENDER - SKETCH Realizations of conceptual designs, technical details and views through different instruments. Sketches with use of colors, materials and photomontages. Realizations of virtual and physical models. Visualization and postproduction using modeling programs and vray plugin.
