The main theme in the 2nd semester is the design of multi-residential buildings adapted to different geographical conditions. The original project is a multi-storey residential building designed for Devonshire, UK which is then adapted for both Danish and Spanish conditions. The project focuses on the Spanish design, which is further split up into a multi-storey residential building and row-houses. The project is located in Torrevieja, Spain.
The target group for this project mainly consists of elderly people, looking for a place to retire or spend their vacations; the ideal profile of our client is that of a person that is conventional but still modern and in constant search of an ideal balance of stability and change - we have provided the option for possible changes in the plans of the generic house. The project is the result of adapting to Spanish conditions and trying to stay within the imposed limits for this project but not create something that isn’t accurate in today’s time.
