— Hello and welcome to Oslo Wind tunnel project. —
HERE WE WILL PRESENT THE BUSINESS PLAN FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A VERTICAL WIND TUNNEL IN OSLO. —
A vertical wind tunnel, also called indoor skydiving, is a glass cylinder with large amounts of air passing through. This is produced through a closed two, or four channel system, the flowing air is generated by two or four large fans. The effect we get from this is the ability to simulate the experience of free fall, in the center of this system is a 5.5 meter high glass cylinder, where the activity inside the tunnel can be observed from the outside. There are already several wind tunnels in Europe and the United States. And it buildes today more and more new tunnels. This is a rapidly growing market with very little competition. There is today currently one wind tunnel in Norway. This tunnel is in Voss, Hordaland.

very year more than three million guests spend the night in hotels in Oslo, and the city quickly growing towards becoming a major European tourist destination. Figures from 1999 show that Oslo has 7.7 million accomodations and over 700,000 daily visitors, which creates a turnover of about 10 billion. The visitor spending creates about 12,000 jobs, equivalent to 4.3% of employment in the private sector in Oslo. Oslo received in 2012 166 cruise ships with about 300,000 passengers on day trips (in 2013 there were 159 calls). This makes Oslo the nation's third-largest cruise port behind Bergen and Geiranger. A number of the most popular tourist destinations are located in Oslo. Innovation Norway considers Frogner Park as the most popular attraction in Norway, and estimates that the park has more than one million annual visitors. Frogner Park is still not on Innovation Norway's list of the 50 most visited attractions in Norway, this is beacause the visitor numbers are uncertain. The annual top 50 list is topped by Holmenkollen Ski Museum, which had 686,857 visitors in 2006. Holmenkollbakken was one of the most famous ski slopes in the world and a landmark in Oslo, before it was demolished in autumn 2008 in order to be resurrected before the 2011 World Ski Championship (WSC) . In addition to the enormous focus on urban development in the capital, we have, aided by WSC been able to assert our right to take the position as a winter city over all. The International Ski Federation (FIS) proclaimed through the media, Oslo Winter Capital of the World, and we notice that the interest in winter Oslo is growing! Other large annual events in Oslo, we can mention; Nobel Peace Prize, Norway Cup, Bislett Games, Holmenkollen Ski Festival etc.
