02

MAKERSPACE LOWELL, MA The makerspace aims to provide quality learning enviornments for the lowell community and aims to act as a teaching vessel itself. This is achieved through exposed structure and joineries, as well as the use of materials such as bamboo. The quality of space is defined by the sectional relationships the proposal encourages. The atrium where the “making” happens acts as a couryard. Bordered by a public circulatory wedge. The atrium acts as a meeting place for all makers, and commniity members.

DETROIT HEALING DETROIT, MI

NOMA NATIONAL STUDENT COMPETITION 3RD PLACE SUMMER 2021

The proposal takes aim at decentralizing the noma campus to increase access while restitch-ing the fabric of Detroit. Highways divide present-day Detroit, and so they are transformed into large public parks act-ing as vessels for a larger light rail transit network.
