SOBRE MI BIOGRAFÍA BIOGRAPHY A FEW WORDS ABOUT YOUR PORTFOLIO WORK Andrés Felipe Vásquez es estudiante de Arquitectura de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana desde el 2015. Nacido el 16 de octubre de 1996, su pasión por la carrera surge desde muy pequeño, viendo el desempeño de su profesión en el trabajo de sus padres arquitectos, los que sin querer despertaron en él la curiosidad y el gusto por saber cada vez más de la carrera. A los 3 años se muda junto con su papás y hermana a Estados Unidos, donde forman gran parte de sus más importantes experiencias en familia, tomando finalmente la decisión a los ocho años de volver a Colombia y radicar totalmente su vida en su país natal. A lo largo de su vida Andrés Felipe ha estado en gran medida en el medio laboral arquitectónico, acompañando a sus padres en su empresa y poco a poco empezando a aportar con sus cualidades al beneficio de esta. En la actualidad, es una pieza fundamental para el buen desempeño de la empresa familiar, dedicándose desde sus primeros semestres a un muy buen desarrollo de planimetría y diagramación, exigiéndose cada vez más y así mismo disfrutando de sus cualidades y fortalezas al máximo.

HABILIDADES / SKILLS

Andrés Felipe Vásquez is a student of Architecture at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana since 2015. Born on October 16, 1996, his passion for the career arose from a very young age, seeing the performance of his profession in the work of his parents architects, who without wanting to awaken in him the curiosity and the pleasure to know more and more of the race. At age 3 he moved with his parents and sister to the United States, where they form a large part of his most important family experiences, finally making the decision after eight years of returning to Colombia and fully living his life in his native country. Throughout his life Andrés Felipe has been largely in the architectural working environment, accompanying his parents in his company and little by little beginning to contribute with his qualities to the benefit of this. Currently, it is a fundamental piece for the good performance of the family business, dedicating itself from its first semesters to a very good development of planimetry and layout, demanding more and more and also enjoying its qualities and strengths to the fullest.

EPHEMERAL ARCHITECTURE ACERCAMIENTO ARQUITECTÓNICO DESDE LO EFÍMERO Desarrollado en la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Bogotá, este diseño efímero buscaba generar un lugar de descanso para las facultades de ingeniería y psicologia. A partir de una estructura metálica, se utilizó el recurso de las mallas que, junto con la estructura remitía a la idea de la tradicional hamaca usada en Colombia.

Developed at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, this ephemeral design sought to generate a place of rest for the faculties of engineering and psychology. From a metal structure, it is the resource of the bad words that, together with the structure of the idea of the hammock used in Colombia.



Teniendo en cuenta los recorridos que cotidianamente realiza un estudiante de esta Universidad, el espacio espécifico donde se dió lugar al proyecto es una zona de referencia donde se reunen profesores y alumnos a pasar periodos de tiempo hablando, tomando café, o sencillamente esperando a encontrarse con otra persona. Como resultado de este análisis, se diseña un proyecto con naturaleza efímera que genere la comodidad que el espacio actual carecía. A partir de mallas dispuestas en diferentes niveles, la distribución de la estructura llevaba a los estudiantes a ubicarse en los diferentes espacios dispuestos con el fin de descansar.

“LO EFIMERO PARA TODOS” REPOSO EN MEDIO DE LA UNIVERSIDAD

UN DISEÑO QUE DETIENE EL TIEMPO Desde el comienzo, cuando se iniciaron con los procesos de ensamblaje de los perfiles metálicos, el proyecto llamó la atención de quienesrecorren diariamente este lugar, pues debido a la malla, que aunque sea un material muy resitente resulta casi invisible desde lejos, el proyecto adquirió la esencia de algo mágico, un proyecto que jugaba con los sentidos.

LLAMATIVO PERO NO IMPONENTE

EL EQUILIBRIO ENTRE LO NATURAL Y LO ARTIFICIAL Dentro de la Universidad Javeriana, se inculca en cada pequeño y gran proyecto la necesidad de dar el primer lugar en lista de prioridades al entorno natural que se encuentre, por ende, al escoger esta zona de intervención, se buscó generar la menor manipulación a los arboles y el pasto que se han encargado de darle carácter al lugar durante los años. Al contrario, se potenciaizó sus cualidades.

5 DIAS 

Al ser estudiantes de primer semestre todo se convierte en un reto; sin embargo, el grupo que trabajó en este proyecto se arriesgó a lanzarse al uso de los perfiles metálicos, trabajados durante 3 días para que los empates y las uniones fueran resueltas con facilidad, los siguientes dos días de trabajo se centraron en el ensamblaje dentro de la universidad, escogiendo el color amarillo para que resaltara la estructura, y la malla fuera ese factor sorpresa.

PROYECTO DE RENOVACIÓN DEL RIO ARZOBISPO BOGOTÁ , COLOMBIA

RESALTANDO LO YA OLVIDADO El rio Arzobispo es uno de los ejes naturales más importantes de Bogotá. Sin embargo, el paso del tiempo y la negligencia por parte de la comunidad , se ha encargado de convertirlo en un caño donde pasa un pequeño cuerpo de agua sucia en el que se refugian los habitantes de la calle. Resultaba casi obligatorio pensar un proyecto que se encargara de revitalizar el cuerpo de agua que está cada vez más en decadencia.

The Arzobispo river is one of the most important natural axes of Bogotá. UNA ACTIVIDAD QUE REACTIVARA EL RIO Y SU ENTORNO

PERMEABILIDAD COMO RECURSO Para el real cumplimiento de revitalizar el rio, era necesario no solo pensar en la población directamente conectada con el río, sino involucrar necesariamente al resto de comunidad, niños, jovenes y adultos que aunque son conscientes de la degradación del río, no tienen las bases necesarias para hacer algo al respecto.

Debido a las dinámicas que el proyecto arquitectónico debía integrar, el diseño se centró en la permeabilidad y en la apertura física hacia el rio. El centro del proyecto se abre, a modo de corredor, con el fin de abrirse completamente a las actividades que en la actualidad el rio había adquirido, negándose a dejar de lado a los habitantes de calle, que dentro del proyecto recibirían rehabilitación y ayuda.

Due to the dynamics that the architectural project had to integrate, the design focused on the permeability and the physical opening towards the river. EXPERIMENTACIÓN PHOTOSHOP PARA CREAR EL AMBIENTE ADECUADO

HERRAMIENTAS BÁSICAS PARA HACER ESTÉTICA UNA IMAGEN Despúes de todo el proceso de modelado a través del programa de Rhino, las imágenes se desarrollaron en Photoshop, trabajando en elementos como la luz, la materialidad en el suelo, las fachadas que rodean el proyecto, hasta la ambientación con las personas y sus sombras; este proyecto llevó a la exploración de las herramientas básicas para lograr producción y post-producción con éxito.

PROYECTO CENTROS URBANOS BOGOTA - 2018

ENTENDIENDO UN TERRITORIO URBANO Se plantea como un taller que toma como punto de partida a Bogota, desde este momento esta ciudad se transforma en el laboratorio de situaciones de comprension de un territorio cambiable, lleno se situaciones de transformaciones y de actividades que hacen que su comprension vaya mas alla de ser una simple ciudad. El enfoque principal es el de crear conciencia sobre el contexto urbano y las respuestas que este puede tener frente a las dinamicas de la sociedad, siempre abordadas desde diferentes escenarios, que convierten el acto urbano en una obra de teatro, con la participacion de toda una sociedad que no se entera que es el actor principal.

It is proposed as a workshop that takes Bogota as a starting point, from this moment this city becomes the laboratory of situations of understanding of a changeable territory, full of situations of transformation and activities that make their comprehension go beyond be a simple city. The main focus is to create awareness about the urban context and the responses that this can have to the dynamics of society, always approached from different scenarios, which turn the urban act into a play, with the participation of a whole society that does not know that it is the main actor.

“ATLAS ECLECTICO” EL ATLAS COMO HERRAMIENTA



Los atlas eclecticos son documentos que reunen las multiples miradas para analizar un territorio a partir de diferentes representaciones graficas y escritas como lo pueden ser los diagramas, estudios fotograficos, estudios de geografia e historia y proyeccion del sector. El proposito de estos

documentos es juntar multiples dimensiones para abordar todos los ambitos del territorio y asi tener variedad de perspectivas a partir de la experimentacion. Estos se caracterizan por tener multiples puntos de vista para interpretar y evidenciar de multiples formas visuales el territorio.

MAQUETA CENTROS URBANOS - EL SUELO ACUPUNTURA URBANA

El suelo es la piel de la ciudad, es el soporte de la infraestructura urbana en cuanto a edificaciones y dinamicas. Es el elemento que contiene todos los sistemas de una ciudad como lo hace la piel en el cuerpo humano.

The ground is the skin of the city, it is the support of the urban infrastructure in terms of buildings and dynamics. It is the element that contains all the systems of a city as does the skin on the human body.

Por medio de la acupuntura podemos encontrar sus nervios principales, para comprender sus estimulos, logrando asi una reaccion positiva frente a lo que sobre esta se desarrolla. Se busca la activacion del suelo por medio de espacios que promuevan dinamicas de diferentes indoles.

Through acupuncture we can find its main nerves, to understand its stimuli, thus achieving a positive reaction to what is developed on it. The activation of the soil is sought through spaces that promote dynamics of different indoles.

- ACTUAL POROSIDAD Representacion del sistema de los espacios vacios y su capacidad de utilidad Los poros son la representacion de los espacios de uso comunal; estos se clasifican en dos clases: macroporos y micro poros. Los macroporos contienen los parques, en los cuales el aprovechamiento del espacio alcanza a ser del 100%, no logran retener flujos constantes y continuos. Los microporos son los almacenes comerciales, en donde el alcance de penetracion a su espacio comunal es mas restringido, la retencion de circulaciones y reuniones es mucho mas identificables.

The pores are the representation of spaces for communal use; These are classified into two classes: macropores and micro pores. The macropores contain the parks, in which the use of space reaches 100%, they do not manage to retain constant and continuous flows. RESTAURACIÓN DEL MATADERO EXALTANDO LA TRADICIÓN

1933 / 2006 El matadero es un lugar que en las últimas décadas ha adquirido mucho reconocimiento en la ciudad de Madrid. Aunque en sus inicios se centraba en cumplir una función para muchos delicada, la construcción donde se desarrollaban estas actividades poseía un carácter industrial que siempre la diferenció. A pesar de que en 1987 el edificio fue abandonado, Madrid dispuso este espacio a un nuevo uso que se definió en un concurso, llevándolo a lo que es en la actualiddad: “un gran laboratorio de creación actual interdisciplinar vinculado a la ciudad, un espacio generalista de intercambio de ideas sobre la cultura y los valores de la sociedad contemporánea, abierto a todos los campos de la creación”- Matadero de Madrid.

DE MATADERO A UN CENTRO DE CREACIÓN

 En la actualidad, dentro del matadero se realizan un sinfín de actividdades que involucran directamente a la población de todas las edades. Cómo estudiantes de la Javeriana tuvimos el privilegio de conocerlo a fondo en el interior, recorriendoló y recibiendo conferencias de grupos de arquitectos y arquitectos reconocidos como Fernando Porras.

BARCELONA

COMUNIDAD EN RELACIÓN CON LA ARQUITECTURA El centro comunitario Horstiic se ha encargado de hacer un trabajo maravilloso en la ciudad de Barcelona en los últimos años, pues ha dispuesto diversas actividades que eran necesarias para el sector como salones comunales, huertas, zonas dispuestas para exposiciones de arte, zonas de permanencia para presentar musica y teatro en el dia y en la noche.

The Horstik community center has been responsible for doing a wonderful job in the city of Barcelona in recent years, as it has arranged various activities that were necessary for the sector such as communal rooms, gardens, areas for art exhibitions, areas of permanence for present music and theater in the day and at night.



Teniendo como referencia las actividades que se realizan dentro del centro comunitario Horstiic, el grupo de los estudiantes de la Javeriana junto con Zuloark y Basurama, desarrollaron diversos modelos de mobiliario que cumplieran con mas de un uso. Referenciando a la imagen, se diseñó un tipo de silla, mueble divisorio con huerta incluida en el espaldar, generando un producto que a pequeña y gran escala aportara a las dinamicas de Horstiic. Taking as a reference the activities that take place within the Horstiic community center, the group of students of the Javeriana together with Zuloark and Basurama, developed several furniture models that fulfilled more than one use. Referencing the image, a type of chair was designed, dividing cabinet with vegetable garden included in the back, generating a product that in small and large scale contributed to the dynamics of Horstiic.

BIENNALE DI VENEZIA - FREESPACE EL VINCULO ENTRE ARTE Y ARQUITECTURA

La bienal realizada en el año 2018 en Venecia, se centró en el concepto de “freespace”, donde las obras arquitectónicas expuestas en él tenian relación directa con ese concepto inicial “ la trascendencia del ser humano en el espacio”.

“LA BIENNALE COMO EXPERIENCIA DE VIDA” CONOCER LA BIENAL

VENECIA - 2018 La bienal es una puerta a un mundo de la arquitectura a otro nivel en donde no solo se ve la innovación de los proyectos arquitectónicos sino la sensibilidad de la cual llega a tener cada espacio y cada arquitecto a un proyecto, para de esta forma generar proyectos de una excelencia absoluta en la forma que se proyectan y se conciben. La bienal de Arquitectura es como un atlas de información infinita, en la cual cada exposición o proyecto se convierte en un océano de información para el crecimiento y formación como arquitecto.

The biennial is a gateway to a world of architecture at another level where not only the innovation of architectural projects is seen, but also the sensitivity of what is always in each space and each architect and a project, for this way generate projects of absolute excellence in the way that is projected and conceived. CENTRO GASTRONÓMICO ÁGAPE ACCESIBILIDAD- CULTURA - GASTRONOMÍA

LA CANDELARIA, - BOGOTÁ, COLOMBIA La accesibilidad es una de las principales deficiencias que se evidencian en la ciudad de Bogotá. Aunque se han realizado campañas y unos pequeños avances a la hora de implementar rampas, barandas y guías para personas con pérdida visual, el centro histórico de la ciudad (La candelaria) posee un alto índice de personas con alguna condición de discapacidad y es la zona de Bogotá con menor avance en la accesibilidad.

Sin embargo la problemática del sector es latente debido a las dificultades que los mismos habitantes del sector tienen para recorrer las calles de la Candelaria; es así como nace la idea de un proyecto que de la pauta para que la Candelaria además de ser el hito del turismo cultural, sea el punto de partida para un turismo accesible. ¿Por qué galería gastronómica? En la Candelaria se encuentran parte de los mejores restaurantes de la ciudad, adicionando un tesoro local que es la plaza de mercado de la Concordia, un lugar tradicional para las familias de la candelaria donde se consiguen las frutas y verduras frescas y a un buen precio. Lamentablemente es un lugar que ha perdido fuerza a causa de las constantes renovaciones infraestructurales en las que se encuentra, pero que merece ser resaltado por los años que lleva acompañando los hogares de las familias Bogotanas; faltaba entonces un punto que reuniera lo mejor de la cultura, la arquitectura, el patrimonio, y la gastronomia tipica de la localidad; es asi como surge la idea de crear una galeria gastronomica en el centro de Bogotá.

La localidad de la Candelaria se encuentra en la parte baja de los cerros orientales, por lo cual su terreno es inclinado de forma considerbale. Al diseñar un proyecto en este lugar, es necesario tener en cuenta todas las inclinaciones, los escalones, los senderos peatonalesque hacen de cada esquina algo completamente único, a raíz de esto, el proyecto no quería imponerse si no acomodarse a las inclinaciones que el terreno ofrece, dejando como resultado que la mejor manera de resolver el proyecto fuera por medio de los niveles, diferenciando cada actividad.

En el contexto inmediato donde está ubicado el lugar de intervención del proyecto, se encuentra rodeado de casas con valor patrimonial en su interior y exterior. Adicionalmente,existe un sendero estrecho que se ha encargado durante siglos de conectar la tradicional plaza de la concordia con el chorro de quevedo, una plaza reconocida por su historia en la ciudad de Bogotá; este sendero también es patrimonial, por lo cual las modificaciones que se le pueden hacer al lugar son escasas. Es entonces como el proyecto debía encajar a la perfección en su entorno.

In the immediate context where the project’s intervention site is located, it is surrounded by houses with heritage value inside and outside. Aún con el paso del tiempo se ha intentado conservar la esencia inicial de la casa, que con el tiempo pasó a ser museo, gracias al papel de poder y heroísmo del señor Rafael Nuñez.

PONTIFICIA UNIVERSIDAD JAVERIANA - BOGOTÁ Aunque el museo es reconocido para los habitantes de la ciudad, y aún estando ubicado en la zona mas turística de Cartagena. su actividad ha disminuido drásticamente, probablemente debido a su ubicación. Por ende, se buscaba generar una nueva actividad que no reemplazara la actiidad inicial del museo, si no que resaltara lo ya existente; es así como se piensa en un café, que acompañe la actividad de una imprenta tradicional, animando a los pequeños y grandes escritores de la ciudad.

PONTIFICIA UNIVERSIDAD JAVERIANA Los jurados del concurso academico junto con el proyecto de Nuevos Territorios de la facultad de Arquitectura de la Javeriana, tomaron la decisión de dar la oportunidad a los grupos participantes de mejorar el diseño teniendo en cuenta las recomendaciones ya dadas. Algunos grupos decidieron seguir con la misma idea, en nuestro grupo decidimos comenzar de cero y pensar el proyecto y el lote de otra forma.

CASITA DEL SOL EL ROSAL, CUNDINAMARCA COLOMBIA

RENOVACIÓN El Rosal, Cundinamarca se encuentra en las periferias de Bogotá. Es un pueblo pequeño donde abundan los amplios campos verdes. A unos 15 minutos de la plaza del pueblo, queda esta finca, donde se inició el proceso de diseño y construcción de la casita del sol. Es un proyecto de vivienda unifamiliar, como núcleo base de 3-4 personas, pero con la posiblidad de disponer los diversos espacios para más personas. El lote de intervención está rodeado de mucha naturaleza con una vista espectacular hacia la sabana de Bogotá, Por ende los elementos más importantes a desarrollar en el momento de pensar en unas estrategias de diseño era el confort térmico, el control de luz, y la consideración adecuada de las vistas.

El Rosal, Cundinamarca is located in the peripheries of Bogotá. It is a small town where the wide green fields abound. About 15 minutes from the town square, there is this farm, where the process of design and construction of the house of the sun began. It is a single-family housing project, as a base nucleus of 3-4 people, but with the possibility of arranging the different spaces for more people. The intervention lot is surrounded by a lot of nature with a spectacular view towards the Bogota savanna. Therefore, the most important elements to develop at the moment of thinking about design strategies was thermal comfort, light control, and the consideration adequate of the views.

EL ROSAL, CUNDINAMARCA Siendo una de las primeras intervenciones arquitectónicas en las que se trabajó, resultó mas interesante siendo un proyecto que yo podría disfrutar en los siguientes años. Por ende, cada una de las decisiones desde la estructura, hasta los acabados finales, fueron directamente de la mano de lo que los clientes anhelaban para su casa destinada a los fines de semana.

Being one of the first architectural interventions in which we worked, it was more interesting being a project that I could enjoy in the following years. Therefore, each of the decisions from the structure, to the final finishes, were directly hand in hand with what customers wanted for their weekend home.

La casa se ubicó en ese ligar con el fin de que dentro de la casa se obtuvieran las mejores vistas de la sabana de Bogotá.

JACUZZI ANAPOIMA RENOVACIÓN DE UN PATIO INTERIOR

ANAPOIMA,COLOMBIA Para el clima de Anapoima, la mayoria de viviendas de paso buscan tener la posibilidad de construir una piscina o un jacuzzi. Para el caso de esta casa, existía un jacuzzi circular, que carecía de usabilidad, debido al deterioro exterior, y a la inadecuada instalación de las redes que hacía tiempo ya existía. Por ende el trabajo de este proyecto se centró en la renivación del jacuzzi y del patio donde este se ubica.

ANAPOIMA, COLOMBIA Como elementos a tener en cuenta se necesitaba un jacuzzi que tuviera mayor capacidad, que integrara las actividades del patio y la cocina, y que dentro del patio dispusiera de un área para un baño con el fin de facilitar el proceso de secado después del baño.

EXPERIMENTACIÓN EXPLORACIÓN DE HERRAMIENTAS DIGITALES

RESTAURACIÓN VIVIENDA UNIFAMILIAR BOYTON BEACH, EE.UU Esta vivienda unifamiliar de Boyton Beach, se encuentra dentro de un conjunto de viviendas para personas adultas mayores. En esta casa, especificamente viven dos personas solas, que durante el año reciben diferentes visitas de sus familiares. En esta zona, se vive un clima cálido que llama a que diariamente se encuentren mosquitos en la zona, esto generó que el patio se conviritiera en un lugar al que no se le daba ningún tipo de uso.



El proceso de diseño se realizó junto con el arquitecto Roberto Vásquez, donde se escogieron los materiales y así mismo se realizo la ejecución en el lugar. El cambio en el lugar fue drástico ya que se evidencia que los habitantes del lugar disfrutan con frecuencia de su patio y mitigaron la entrada de mosquitos y calor a la casa.
