EF festival announces artist lineup

ROTHBURY – Even without a formal line up announced the Electric Forest Music Festival 2016 managed to sell out back in December of 2015. Finally, with the use of social media the artist line up was announced for this summer’s festival. Several lucky fans were delivered line up invitation cards on Feb. 2, in order to reveal a single name of a musical artist performing at the festival. Fans then took to social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter to reveal the names of the artists. For this year’s show crowd favorite The String Cheese Incident will be making their return. Typical, and not entirely unexpected to regular festival goers, the headlining band will perform three shows at the festival. DJ sensation Bassnectar will also be returning to this year’s festival and was one of the most anticipated acts amongst electronic music fans last year. Also famed electronic music group Major Lazer will be headlining. Other acts to receive top billing for this year’s festival are: Adventure Club, Baauer, Beats Antique, Bonobo, Duke Dumont, Fetty Wap, Flosstradamus, Gorgon City, Greensky Bluegrass, Griz, Nahko and Medicine For The People, Porter Robinson, STS9, Tchami and the Disco Biscuits.
