Château la Chenevière is a 5-star hotel located on the Norman coast between Bayeux and the landing beaches. This 18th-century manor house, nestled in a romantic park with centennial trees, welcomes visitors inside its walls brimming with history. Fully restored in 1988, the establishment has retained its charm of yesteryear, so that guests can enjoy an extraordinary stay steeped in peace and luxury. The 29 rooms are all decorated differently, but harmoniously combine that old-fashioned charm with modern comfort. Nature and gastronomy are key in Chateau la Chenevière’s philosophy. Guests can dine in two restaurants: Le Botaniste for a fine-dining experience and Le Petit Jardin, a bistro located near the pool. Head chefs at both restaurants work closely with the chateau’s market gardener to use seasonal vegetables, fruits and herbs from the chateau’s permaculture garden. They also only use locally sourced fish and meats from the best suppliers.
