STAGE 1 - SECTION
SITE PREPARATION / EXCAVATION AND SERVICES PIPES LAYOUT Laser leveler complete with the laser receiver and leveling staff to determine the level of the sewer pipes. This will ensure precision.
Sewer Pipes Plug Y-branches pipe Initially demolition was done, which also use bobcat to scrape and truck to help collecting the waste. All reusable/resellable materials was collected first. Excavator to dig trenches for the footing formwork later on.
Tee pipe Elbow pipe Coupling Plug is required to close the piping during the construction process to prevent any dirt to come inside and cause blockage. Ledger to define reference point for leveling purpose. Red string/hurdle to defing the boundaries.
Cleanup bucket is designed to have single slope construction, used for ditching, backfilling, sloping, or leveling soil, which come after the digging process.
Digging bucket is designed to have short blunt teeths that are suitable to dig up soft soil.
Site classification: Class P (AS 2870-2011_ Foundation safe bearing capacity: 60kPa
Sewer pipes always installed sloping down from furthest piping into the sewering pit to ensure waste will flow smoothly.

STAGE 2 - SECTION GROUND FLOOR SUPPORT
Taping is required when putting the vapour barier in areas that have holes like where the sewer pipes go through. This is to ensure that there is no moisture come through to the other layers.
Compacted sand on top of the clay/soil is required before applying vapour barrier. However, it is not required on the valleys since the purpose of this layer is to avoid any sharp stones from poking through the wrap when people walk on it. People will only walk on top of the foundation trenches. Timber flanges often used to help as a bridge during construction process.
7. Hydronic heating pipes 16mm polyethene water pipe.
8. 1.6mm wire ties to secure all the mesh and pipes together.
6.2 SL92 mesh 200mm spacings d: 9mm min. 75mm concrete top cover 6.1 Trench mesh 3L12TM 3 bars, low ductility d: 12mm, min. 55mm concrete bottom cover 5. Bar chairs as a place for the reinforcing mesh to sit on.
8. Concrete pouring tfollowed by flattening using straight screed board, bull float, and power trowel. Edges is finished using hand trowel. Afterwards, curing is required at least 7 days.
4. 0.2mm polyehene as vapour barrier.
3. 50mm compacted sand to prevent tearing of the vapour barrier. 2. Foundation trenches dug using bobcat. 1. Fromwork as reference of the trencehs level.
Anchor bolts for steel column is installed before the concrete set.

PREPARATION OF FIRST FLOOR STRUCTURAL FRAME & FIRST FLOOR FLOOR FRAMING Steel baconies was made prefab off-site. It is instally by using cranes and placed into the framing. The connections are mixed between bolting and welding as seen in the pictures. The green paint on the steel is to prevent rust.

STAGE 7 - SECTION ROOF STRUCTURE
Proping for the balconies was also done in this stage. The proping is done using timber frames, formed into frame for the gutter later on as well. The panels are slightly angled sloping towards the gutter plaement for better drainage.
Roof truss was prefabricated off-site in accordance to the structural requirements, including to form extended bottom chord in one end to give proping for the box gutter to be inplace later on. The top chords are to be angled as well for better drainage. Top chord
Roof trusses are laid down (left) at first in accordance to its proper spacing (max. 600mm). This will ease the process and make sure accuracy of the placement. After all set, the roof trusses will be erected and scured to the parapets (right).

STAGE 10 - SECTION EXTERNAL CLADDING
Cladding for balconies Timber stud wall
Sarking
Timber battens for the balconies was drilled then pre-painted before installation.
Installation of the battens into the steel balcony frame using screws
Excess screw length then smashed using hammer to avoid poking through
CL01 The edges of the cladding was pre-painted first to avoid white lining later during use of the building because of any movements. Wheatertex cladding was also chosen because of its size that has sufficient height so that middle joinery is not required. Thus, aesthetically more pleasing.
Joiner painted in black
3660x1196mm Weathertex Groove Smooth cladding painted with Dulux black matt finish
CL03 This wall system give very good insulation and light-weight. Plastic stopper and Mesh is required to prevent the foam wall system from breaking down when fixed using nails. The mesh also help concrete rendering later on to applied because it gives friction. M es
