Her Majesty’s Ambassador - Robin Lamb
one of the most sophisticated markets in the Arabian Peninsula and I look forward to building on the already excellent business relationships between our two Kingdoms. This also gives me the opportunity to introduce myself and to say how delighted I am to come to Bahrain as Her Majesty’s Ambassador - Sue and I are greatly looking forward to spending the next few years on this beautiful island. I hope to meet many of you personally in the coming months but, until then I would like to introduce you to our ‘Spotlight‘ events which are set to occupy much of the business community’s time this October.
ROBIN DAVID LAMB - CURRICULUM VITAE Robin Lamb joined the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) in 1971, and has occupied a number of positions during more than 30 years in the Diplomatic Service. Overseas placements have included duty in Khartoum, Tripoli, Jeddah, Muscat, Riyadh, Kuwait and Cairo prior to being Deputy Head of the Middle East Department of the FCO from 1997 to 1999. A two year spell as Director - BG2 in Trade Partners UK preceded his posting to Kuwait as Deputy Head of Mission. Robin is married to Susan and has a daughter and two sons. 1
