QUESTIONS
What inspired you for this campaign? #UOonYOU has a relaxed, urban feel with a fashion forward twist. This was the main inspiration for our campaign along with being apart of a creative process, able to narrate the story of a UO girl. Once this team was able to meet, we shared ideas from days of individual research and created this campaign suitable for UO and #UOonYou
What inspires you about Urban? -orWhat do you like most about Urban? Urban Outfitters has a very recognizable brand. You can look at a girl or guy and can tell they’re an Urban shopper by their appearance. Urban is not a company that follows the fashion calendar, styles and trends, instead they’ve created this brand that allows individuals to be who they want and become their own trendsetter. UO is a company who stays true to their brand, aesthetic, style and marketing, and this is what inspired each and every one of our team members to their brand.
How do you think social media is changing the landscape of the fashion industry? Social media has changed the landscape of the fashion industry in many different ways. First came technology and along with all the growth in technology came social media. 92 percent of Americans own a smart phone. With this percent almost at 100, this show how many Americans have access to view anything on social media. If you need a look or to see what’s trending, log on to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, to list a few, and check it out. You do not have to wait until the next monthly magazine to come out. People have instant access to search and view anything with the touch of a few keys.
A special thank you to Urban Outfitters - Savannah, GA
