London based country singer-songwriter Jeannine Barry’s musical journey began around 2008 when she started writing songs to existing beats. She comes from a musical family, her uncle John Barry being a musician and her brother and sister have a love of music. Whilst Jeannine was living in Berlin she met American vocal coach and TV presenter David Lee Brewer (Beyoncé Knowles, Letoya Luckett and many more). It was he who identified and suggested she should take her path down the “country” road. She made a connection with producer Denis Gadjetic who also played all the instruments and recorded a Christian & Gospel/ Country EP in 2012 at Gadget Studios in Farringdon. The result was the 5-track GIVE ME SOMETHING which finally surfaced on Oct 31, 2013. Tracks such as “Mind Games” marked early promising signs. In February 2015 she released a noteworthy fun-loving debut single “All Night” which displayed much growth, pushing herself vocally, with a tighter, more exciting and polished sound. Her 6 track EP OFF THE HOOK dropped July 3, 2015. This was recorded and produced in Nashville by Mark Moseley at Java Jive studios. It contained the exciting tension-filled and gritty title cut, face paced “Lonely Road”, the rocky danceable “Carousel” with its driving beat, “Undeniable” oozed love vibes and featured standout and highly catchy feel good “Long Hot Summer”. She won over new fans at the C2C Country to Country Festival in 2015 on the Town Square Stage Pop Up Stage and was upgraded to the 1,000 capacity Brooklyn Bowl for C2C2016 performing over 2 days when she sent delighted fans away happy after a fabulous 30-minute set with her terrific band showcasing many Off The Hook tracks. It proved that she could connect with her audience, highlighted her versatility, both rocking it out but then at a flick slowed things with heartbreak shiny new number "Burning Bridges". She impressed the C2C Country To Country Festival organizers who turned to her again when she was invited to the C2C 2017 launch party to perform with a full band on October 24th 2017. Jeannine officially launched the new 4 track EP BITTERSWEET on Nov 25, 2016 to coincide with her Birthday weekend. For this EP, she turned to the UK country artists go-to producer Justin Johnson (Parr Street Studios, Liverpool). Following a range of prestigious support slots, appearances and an invitation to headline the launch party for the UK’s biggest country music festival C2C (Country 2 Country) 2017, Jeannine packed her bags for Nashville to tour with Blake Shelton’s guitarist Kevin Post. She went on a UK co-headline tour with Lucy May during April 2017 and later in the year performed at 2017’s Texas Music Takeover festival at The Borderline (Oct 11) and Oslo, Hackney (Oct 13) in London. On Nov 30, 2017 Jeannine released an updated Nashville version of her song "Bittersweet" as part of a Nashville project called Nashville Dreamin' (iTunes). It's a grassroots effort to showcase singers and singer-songwriters moving to Nashville to pursue their dreams of making it in the music industry. C2C TICKET HOLDERS C2C ticket holders are invited to enjoy any of the Festival Stages across the weekend, subject to capacity. This includes C2C Late Night Stage (Building Six); BBC Radio 2 Stage (indigo at The O2); Country Music Week Hub and The Saloon (All Bar One) and C2C Sessions (NY-LON). In addition to the Official Aftershows, C2C hosts a series of late night stages. Entertaining crowds into the evening this year are LANCO, Russell Dickerson, Lindsay Ell, Mo Pitney, Delta Rae and Ryan Kinder. New for 2018, fans have the chance to get up close to the newest UK and Irish country names making a big impact on these shores. The C2C Close Up Stage in Building Six will reveal the backstory and future plans of some of the most promising UK and Irish acts, with intimate performances from Catherine McGrath, Andy Brown, Una Healy, Twinnie, Liv Austen, Katy Hurt and Jake Morrell.

The Wandering Hearts to officially kick off the Country To Country Festival 2018 (C2C2018) Blurb: To paint a picture of The Wandering Hearts, Tara (Tara Wilcox), Chess (Francesca Whiffin), AJ (Alexander John Dean-Revington) and Tim (Timothy Prottey-Jones); Folk Americana vocal harmony group) one would need to find their most blood red hard-earned brush. An Americana / Country music group from London that came together almost in defiance of the current zeitgest of rhinestone hats and Fender guitar UK country-rock that has jumped onto the proverbial bandwagon in the last two years. The Wandering Hearts said: “Tara and Tim met at a gig and were introduced soon after to AJ and Chess through mutual friends. Something between us all just clicked – we felt we had stumbled onto something special. We started writing together as a band and quickly developed The Wandering Hearts sound: a truthful lyric and lots of harmonies.” Originally christening themselves the Paper Hearts, they recorded two demo songs, "Today Is Ours" and "Sunshine," which they uploaded to SoundCloud, leading to a flurry of immediate interest. Within a month, they had been invited to audition for Decca at a London showcase, who signed them on the spot. Rebranded the Wandering Hearts, probably to avoid confusion with any of numerous other acts with the same name, they played a number of high-profile festival shows in 2016, and released their debut single, the bittersweet "Wish I Could," on May 5, 2017. The track has had over 500,000 streams on Spotify and they are currently logging 105,000 monthly listeners. BLOG FEATURE: The Wandering Hearts: Interviews, Artist Spotlight & Background They played the Country To Country C2C 2017 Festival, their Saturday 10am slot at the C2C Fans Lounge was scrapped but they later played The Roadhouse Building Six (13:05-13:35) and also performed The Big Entrance Stage on Sunday March 12, 2017 (11:25-11:55). Their first London show at St. Pancras Old Church (26th April 2017) was a sell-out, and the single was championed by Michael Ball and his team at BBC Radio 2. Then on August 19th BBC Radio 2 “B” playlisted their brilliant catchy follow-up single "Devil". Published on Aug 17, 2017 watch the Official Video for Devil (138K views). Last October they supported C2C2017 main stage act Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives.
