I re-imagine leadership, transform engagement and strengthen democracy. My passion is finding better ways to engage, build trust and lead change supporting parliaments to be open, governments to be agile, active and relevant and citizens to become more effective participants in their own civic lives. I do this through research, consultancy, writing and public speaking. I’m currently CEO of global digital engagement practice FutureDigital and an Associate at Involve. I’m one of the team behind PoliticalInnovation.org and whofundsyou.org as well as the Chair of The Red Trust (ivo.org). Previously, I’ve been Director of Digital Democracy at the Hansard Society, Managing Director of New Zealand-based Wairua Consulting and Deputy Chair of the New Zealand Government’s Digital Strategy Advisory Group.
