ABOUT ME Hello, My name is Ane Arauzo and I am an Industrial Design Engineer. I am currently studying for my masters on Product and Service Strategic design. I am the kind of person that can work in different types of projects due to my ability to adapt to new situations. I enjoy teamwork and I believe I am a creative person. During my education I have worked on diverse projects with different companies. That has helped me not only to learn a real design process but also to have a methodology to follow while I am working. After spending the las four years working on product design I am exploring different fields in design to work on. Right now I am interested in service, interaction and graphic design which in my opionion can be combined in many projects. EXPLORATION
For me the exploration is a phase with two goals. First of all, if needed, an “Strategic Search” is done in order to find an oportunity in the market. This is done by analysing Trends and Macrotrends among others When the Market Oportunity is defined the user analysis begins. This means to analyse the needs and wishes of the users to get to the main goal of the exploration: A Design Brief.

CONCEPTUALIZATION Based on the brief it’s time to start creating ideas! I believe that the use of Creative Tools is key to develop innovative concepts. To Sketch the ideas created helps not only your team mates to understand the concept but also helps you to improve it. By a small evaluation process the last concept is selected and it’s time to develop the details.

KYU - CONCEPT WHAT IS KYU? KYU, the portable tea maker, has been design in order to create a relaxing moment in the stressfull life that people live now a days. Thanks to the integrated water heating system it can be used anywhere and anytime. The spherical shape and the texture of the lid reminds the user of a rock so that he can feel connected to nature.

WHAT IS ERLE-CROSS? As older people keep getting isolated in small towns without pharmacies since they can’t drive to bigger towns. In order to solve this problem Erle-Cross dron was designed, as it can deliver medicines to their home door from the pharmacy.

HOW DO WE USE THE ERLE-CROSS DRON?

Wait until the Erle-Cross dron lands in front of your house.

Push the button as indicated on the lid and extract the medicine container.

Open the lid of the container as indicated by the arrows.

Extract the medicines and put the container back in the dron. Finally send it to the farmacy again.

GOAL Design the logo and label for a water bottle based on the description Try to get a result that will stand out in the market and at the same time, represents the values and charasteristics of the water.
VITAL WATER - ANALYSIS DESCRIPTION OF THE WATER AUSTRALIA (King Island – Tasmania) This water is collected from 400 m2 of roof via specially designed stainless steel channels and then stored in a tank . The water passes through a series of filters and then sterilized with ultraviolet rays . Analyses say that Cloud Juice is 400 times purer than world standards recommended. Each bottle contains 9,750 drops of water

THE LOGO THE SHAPE The shape of the logo reminds of the shape of Australia. The logo makes one with the brand’s name “Vital” creating the V with the shape of the country.

This shape, reinforces the australian pricde and makes the australian consumers closer to the brand. Besides, makes it clear where the water comes fron which can be very atractive for buyers from abroad.
THE LABEL The round shape makes the label outstand among the other bottles in the stores. In addition, what makes it even more atractive for the consumer’s eye is the purple colour that makes the bottle more visible in the shelves. The colour is related to the ultraviolet rays that are used to purify this water. This way, the technology used to make the Vital water is comunicated.

WHAT IS KOXK!? The ZAPOREAK project tries to start a School of Hotel and Catering Business and Gastronomy in Wukro, Ethiopia as well as the creation and development of activitise of income in the food processing area. They will offer services of education about food and about launching new comercial activities. KOXK! Is a popular party that is part of the Zaporeak project to promote both solidarity and gastronomy. The poster fliyer ticketsand signals have been designed for this festivity in Intxaurrondo, Donostia (Basque Country).
