Bellenden Therapies Celebrates 17 years This April

Directly above Bellenden Florist at 147a Bellenden Road, you’ll find the warm and inviting space that is home to Bellenden Therapies. A Complementary Health Clinic, Bellenden Therapies was set up by Homeopath Julia Linfoot and Aromatherapist Jane Tilton in April 2006 after they met whilst working at Peckham Pulse Complementary Health Centre.

Bellenden Therapies is a collective of independent therapists. Between them they offer a wide range of therapies, traditional and modern, and have a combined wealth of experience in helping people to find solutions to their health problems.

NEW THERAPIES for 2023

‘Thermal Stone Fusion Massage’ with Julia Salisbury. A combination of heat and deep tissue massage techniques that relaxes and eases muscle tension without the usual discomfort associated with a deep tissue massage. Alternate Sundays.

‘Facial Acupuncture’ with Ann Berni-Wright and Sarah Shorter . Advanced acupuncture techniques are used to help to soften fine lines and wrinkles and give the skin a healthy and well-rested glow. Often referred to as The Natural Facelift. Mondays and Thursdays.

Bellenden Therapies has given many new therapists a safe, respectful and compassionate start to their journey. By keeping rents affordable and maintaining a flexible approach with hourly room rental slots and a cap on monthly fees, combined with helpful advice and a non-judgmental ear, Julia and Jane have seen many practitioners develop and grow over the years. Some have moved on but others including Dave Newman (Hypnotherapist) and Maria Veiga (Counsellor) have worked with Bellenden Therapies for over 10 years. Maria is currently up for an award for her website.
