In caring and service,

Angela Shin

From your LTG

Hi Division 34! Who’s knocking at your door? It’s me! Jokes aside, I hope everyone’s summer was fantastic and memorable! It’s time to get down to business though! Time to start fundraising, volunteering and recruiting! I challenge all of you to invite a friend (or a stranger) to join Key Club this year! Show them what it means to be an active member and a role key clubber. Make sure of look out for all the DCMs, divisional contests and divisional service projects! I Hope to promote more interclub service projects and fundraisers this year!

From your Divisional Editor

Hel

What's up Div 34, it's Micow Ly. Hope you guys had a great second or even first week of school. If not, well at least there is Key Club to make school worth going to. PLEASE, start recruiting new or even old students to join Key Club. Nobody is a stranger to charismatic inclusive people like! Don't forget, to be an actual member of KCI you have to pay dues, and you need at least 15 members to pay dues to be considered a club. Treasurers, please work along with your adviser and club members to turn in dues to the MUC by November 1st, even though the actual due date is December 1st. If you have trouble figuring out the MUC go to pnwkeyclub.org or talk to Angela! Officers, please try to encourage your club members to go to DCM! Not only can you go and meet amazing key clubbers from other schools in your division, you can really start to get the feel of Key Club at the divisional level. Divisional Editor

Micow Ly

If you have any pictures from meetings/events this month, send them to me at kaitlan.harbaugh@gmail.com, and I’ll try to upload them to the D34 Instagram. Have a great school year! MNT is a disease that affects newborn babies and their mother, and is extremely painful, and even fatal.

Similar to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, the PNW District Board has challenged the PNW to eat a ¼ of a lemon and donate $1.80 to help fight MNT.

-MEMBER-

OF THE –MONTH-

AUGUST

Angel was chosen this month for showing outstanding leadership qualities! While Maria (foss’s president) was away she was able to take control and responsibility of Foss’s Paint Tacoma Beautiful! I would love to see more members suggesting and leading service projects! Thank you Angel!

IF YOU HAVE A NOMINATION, SEND THEM IN!

-OFFICER-

OF THE –MONTH-

AUGUST

Lindsey was chosen this month for demonstrating excellent organization and leadership! Not only organizing a successful club fair but a pizza party with over 30 attendees! 20 of which were prospective members! Also just recently holding the first meeting at Gig Harbor with over 70 attendees! GHKC already has planned multiple service projects for the following months and have planned joint Key Club meetings with Peninsula High’s Key Club!

-CLUB SPOTLIGHT-

Henry Foss High School: Paint Tacoma Beautiful Henry Foss High School is first to be featured on the club spotlight! This year I want to emphasize serving our community! And Foss definitely went up and above! During the last summer, Foss High School’s officers and members organized different service days where they would all work together to help fix up a Tacoma seniors home! Spending over 25.5 service hours to do what Key Clubbers do best! Serve!

Want to highlight something your club or another club did? Shoot me a message!

Of course these are only a few examples! Take the Lead and serve your community!
