Twenty Five Days to Make a Difference Participate, Share, and Inspire Others
Everyone who commits to doing a good deed a day from December 1-25th and takes the time to photograph and share something about at least ONE of their good deeds will be entered to win a minimum of a $100 donation to the charity of their choice. The more you do and the more you share, the greater your chances of winning. Here’s how to participate: 1. Think of how you’d like to make a difference by doing kind things for others every single day in December. Use the first calendar provided to create a plan for what you might do each day, if you want to. 2. Keep track of your good deeds using a second calendar. Each time you do a good deed, write it down. 3. Plan to share your experiences by doing ONE of the following things:
Take a photo of ONE of your calendars OR at least ONE good deed that you’ve done, and share it on Twitter or Instagram. Please use the hashtag #25x25days so that others are able to see it. The more you share, the greater your chances of winning. Or, if you’d like to have your story featured on my blog at 25xtwentyfivedays.wordpress.com, please email me at laurakstockman@gmail.com. Tell me a little about what you did, and I will blog about your great work in December. Please be sure to include your photo as well. If you are an older writer or working with a class or school, you can also blog about your experiences. Please email me your link at laurakstockman@gmail.com. I’ll be sure to feature your blog on my own, as long as you are a child, a family, or a teacher whose class is working to make a difference.
Please be safe on the internet. If you are a child, please post with a parent’s support, and do not show your face or reveal any contact information. Take a picture of the good deed that you did, not yourself. The winner of the $100 charity donation will be announced on my blog on Christmas night. Participants will be entered into a drawing, and I will choose one winner from all who did good deeds. The more you participate, the greater your chances of winning. This means that you will be entered multiple times: once for each photo, blog post, or story you share with me by email.
