Gaming the Writing Process to Connect with Audience

Page 1

Gaming the Writing Process: Connecting with Audience First, create a timeline of turning points in your life. In the example, moments of light are recorded on pink sticky notes. Moments of darkness are recorded on blue notes.

Next, revisit each turning point and think about the lesson that you learned from the experience. In the example, these are recorded on thought bubble sticky notes.

Finally, consider the relevance of each lesson learned and move each lesson to its appropriate place on the board. Which lessons are relevant to you alone? Which might matter to an audience as well? Consider seeking feedback on your ideas before you settle on any one.
