Coffee time in Bansko If you are addicted to caffeine, the coffe won't be missed in Bansko. The area is full of automatic machines at squares and in candy-stores. From these machines you can drink cappuccino, espresso, moccasins, tea, chocolate at prices ranging from 0.20 € to 0.30 €! In local cafes, the rates are cheap too ( from 0.40 euros to 2.00 euros)
Wines & Others Spirits Bansko is rightly well-knonw for its topical wine. A good bottle of wine in a restaurant can cost from 4 to 7 €. In super-markets you can find a wide range of Bulgarian
wines at good prices. Wine, however, produces the entire southern Bulgaria. In many places you will see selling bulk wine that it is quite good, for my personal opinion.
MARKETS & OPENING HOURS OPERATING IN BULGARIA Spirits are certainly much cheaper due to lower indirect taxes (VAT and excise duties). In electrical appliances and clothes we did not see big differences.In this area, you can buy quality cosmetics from rose water and rose oil, as well the country cultivates large areas with roses.Other things that you can buy for your friends or family are: refractory, ceramic hulls of various sizes, traditional perfumes to the known wooden cases, rugs, aprons and tablecloths in shades of red and green, wool socks (very hot and odorless in extreme conditions!), fur hats, etc.
Shops are usually open Monday to Friday 8: 30- 18:00 and Saturday 8: 30- 14:00, but they are closed in specific days : January 1, March 3, Easter , May 24, 6 and September 22, 25 & 31 December.
