Congress of Baja California eliminates immunity for deputies, governor, mayors and judges The Baja California congress unanimously approved the elimination of federal and state jurisdiction. With this resolution, local deputies, magistrates, state governors, mayors and judges remain without jurisdiction.

The Congress of BC unanimously approved the elimination of charter/immunity.
The opinion approved by the XXII Legislature of Baja California will be sent to the Congress of the Union for the corresponding legislative procedure. The removal of immunity will create more transparent governments; it will take power from the upper socioeconomic classes and bring stability to their regiments.
