There it sits, pure and clean, producing shades of pink and white and giving off a delicate fragrance, within Taichung Gateway Park. It is sur-rounded by the mountains of the convention and exhibition centre, and thrives at the waters of the wave making pool; very beautifully placed, is the Taichung city cultural centre.To engulf the thriving art and culture that Taiwan is so fondly seeking to express, Taichung city cultural centre is designed around the many various artistic and poetic attributes picked from the plum blossom.The building has been sculpted with emphasis on purity of form, to honour the untainted form and spirit of the flower, which attracts so many onlookers when it blossoms.

8TH HILL MIXED USE Ushering in a new era of parametric architecture into Uganda, the 8th Hill presents a first of it’s kind of design typology in Kampala. Situated in a high-end lucrative commercial zone within Nsambya. The mixed use development project encapsules activities ranging from commercial retail space, office space, recreational and residential space, as well as communal courtyard green belt.

GENESIS 120 ‘UGANDA’S FIRST HIGH RISE RESIDENTIAL TOWER’ From its biblical meaning, Genesis marks the beginning of creation. Genesis 120 therefore seeks to lead a housing revolution in Uganda. Police homes of 2 & 3 bedroom typology as per requirements given in RFP, modern barracks office, common green areas with water features, sporting grounds, golf course, amphitheater & jogging tracks, lush green man made forests both at the centre of the site but also within the existing green belt in the valley hence preservation of the natural storm water drainage path. Modern hi-rise Residential units
have been added to help reduce on the housing deficit in Kampala but also usher in the new age of hi-rise developments as the value of land is quite high in the city. A grand iconic avante garde one stop commercial centre has been developed to cater for the needs of the local population but also Kampala on a whole.

BARCLAYS BANK KAMPALA ROAD
Angiletti incorporated Barclays Bank’s Corporate philosophy of colour and choice of material finishes into its interior refurbishment hence developing a theme that would give a strongly expressive statement to the bank. Each design aspect was hand crafted on site, from the wavy wall reliefs, to the cladding and ceiling patterns.

The visitor is welcomed by a foreground of an illusion of waves flashed down by warm lights, creating a soothing display of light and shade, and surrounded with the utmost brilliance of natural greenery. lowing for visual transparency throughout the entire banking hall, yet proving functional privacy and easy usability for both the clients and staff of the bank.

On entrance to the bank, one is welcomed by an exclusive corporate reception adorned with ambient lighting flashing down the wall to create a corporate aura to the space. A clear and client friendly spatial layout has been attained to give the bank users the most sufficient manoeuvrability about the bank.

The design focuses on attaining a luminous and vibrant ambience across the banking halls by introducing glazed walls, therefore creating visual spatial connection and interaction. CODE DENTAL CLINIC The project is an interior fit out of an existing open plan space transformed into a dental clinic. The project was designed with consideration to the client’s modest budget, therefore required a highly creative yet cost effective design. The project exhibits a contemporary approach to interior design. It entails a rich diagonal tapestry of bright shades of orange against white.

This reliefed criss-cross pattern was used to accentuate particular spaces like the reception area, and foreground for the waiting area. A cosy and interactive space hence attained with the use of soft colours for the walls. The reception desk moulds from the wall and directly mimics the angulations of
the wall geometrics. To a visitor at the clinic, the design is meant to create a psychological distraction to the mind, away from the experience of encountering the dental chair, hence allowing the visitors to have a calm mindset.

SHEAR ZEN HOUSE An avant-garde, strongly expressive house with simple geometries but a highly dynamic composition. The lower level is clad in stone creating a rustic and weather resistant finish in contrast to glass and alucobond on the upper level. The upper level is partially cantilevered 5 metres unsupported.

BELLE VUE HOUSE In the heart of Lweza, the house was designed on the hill side with a very steep incline and 150degree panoramic view to lake victoria. It sits on a series of garden terraces accessed from different levels of the house, finally culminating in the infinity pool that overlooks the main garden and the lake. All major rooms were designed to have a lake view and minimal solar heat gain.

9MX HOUSE A continuous sculpture, enveloping habitat, was created by distortion of linear geometry. Three stories high, two identical units are detached and mirrored. Views were maximised by elevating the liveable spaces above natural ground level, creating pure volumes that appear to be afloat. The cantilevered volumes project off the first floor that is encased in glass, and supported on the opposite end by a bunch of upward radiating columns that mimic tree branches. Underneath the cantilever are gardens, providing ample green garden area for each housing unit.
