BASIC TUTORIAL ON HOW TO USE ARCHICAD. I will show you how to use the tool box to create a floor plan. How to download furnitures. How to put in lighting and how to create your own surfaces with downloaded textures by using JPEG and PNG files.

STEP 1 Click on " welcome to Archicad " to start Archicad.

In this chapter I will show you how to create a cafe counter. You will also be working on the 3D mode to design the counter.

These are the tools you need to create the counter
STEP 1 Use the slab tool to draw an rectangle.
STEP 2 Use the wall tool to draw the back side of the counter
STEP 3 Click on 3D to watch the counter in 3D. Use the Orbit and Pan tool to rotate or drag the object. 16
