Hello Friends!

Thank You for your support and electing me to represent YOU on the Lake Shore School Board!

I am writing this message personally. I am not at liberty to speak for the Board as a whole.

As you know, my goal is to build a strong positive partnership between the community and the school. I encourage much more community involvement.

In return, know that you will be heard, and your ideas and concerns will not be dismissed. Without community support our school is a drift. An analogy I picture is Lake Shore as a sailboat and the community is the rudder. Without a strong rudder, the boat will drift whichever way the wind blows!

There is an effective path for communicating to the school board which cannot be ignored if done correctly.

HAVE A GOOD IDEA OR CONCERN ON YOUR MIND?

Share your thoughts with the closest source first: Teacher then Counselor then Principal then Superintendent

Then write a letter to the School Board. The District Secretary will make sure each member receives it. The Board is there to represent YOU! We got this.

Looking forward to working together!

Sincerely, Megan
