Welcome to our annual bull sale! We are excited to offer a premium selection of bulls, meticulously bred and prepared to meet the needs of today’s cattle producers. This year’s lineup represents the culmination of our commitment to quality genetics, structural soundness, and performance in real-world conditions.
The 24 lots offered for auction at the Boyanup Saleyards on Friday, March 7 feature elite and diverse bloodlines, including four exciting new sires and three high performers from last year. Raised and finished on a 100% grass-based diet, our bulls are bred for resilience, efficiency, and adaptability, ensuring they excel in all environments and provide longterm value to your operation.
A long, dry summer in 2023/24, resulting in feed rationing, placed additional selection pressure on animals to perform in challenging conditions. Cows, particularly young stock, that could maintain their body condition and get in calf quickly showed their value. It reinforced the importance of our commitment to selection based on real, rather than ideal, conditions.
Once again, we are particularly pleased with the docility achieved this year. The sale team average in the top 30% of the breed for docility, and comments around their quiet disposition are the most common compliment we receive during inspections.
Stud principal Clayton Trigwell, along with wife Clare, are once again excited to welcome everyone to inspect the quality they have chosen for this year’s sale at their open day on Wednesday, February 5 at 1151 Vasse Highway, Yoongarillup, WA. Located on a contiguous landholding with no common boundary fences, Whispering Pines Angus is able to offer a high level of biosecurity with JBAS8 accreditation. All sale bulls are pestivirus free, fully vaccinated, semen tested, and backed by comprehensive genomic data, including HD50K analysis and sire verification, giving buyers confidence in their investment.
We are grateful for your interest in our program and look forward to helping you find the right bulls to enhance your herd. Whether you’re a returning client or new to our sale, we’re here to answer any questions and assist with your breeding goals. We look forward to working with you to strengthen your herd for the future.
Thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing you on sale day.

1. LT Revered: A new sire out of the USA with a stacked pedigree of great uddered, structurally-correct cows. Revered for his ability to add maternal value, he demonstrates exceptional calving ease, especially in his daughters (top 1%). He is a genuine curve bender in terms of calving ease to growth spread while maturing early into an efficient mature cow size. A docility score in the top 3% of the breed tops it off to make him one of the best cow makers we’ve seen for some time.
2. Millah Murrah Rembrandt R48: A son of the popular Millah Murrah Paratrooper who takes the performance of his sire and steps it up a gear with significant improvement in temperament, fat cover and claw shape. His calves are quiet and thick bodied with a traditional Angus head. He has a balanced, no holes resume which is what we like to see in a herd bull.
3. Whispering Pines R21: Another exciting addition this year is the first progeny to be offered by Whispering Pines R21, a standout son of Baldridge Beast Mode, and affectionately known on farm as Roaming Brian. His calves demonstrate explosive growth rates (top 1% 200 day), with his progeny consistently topping our weaning weight charts. He has a very gentle disposition, with superb structure and passes it onto his sons.
4. Murdeduke Quarterback Q011: Another new sire this year, Quarterback combines short gestation and great fertility with positive fats, all the while maintaining a high IMF level. His calves have great structure with plenty of eye appeal and a slick skin. Quarterback is gaining ground quickly with 5000 progeny across 200 herds already in Australia.
LD Capitalist 316: Breed leader for calving ease and passes it on to his daughters. A wide, muscular morphology is a trademark of his calves who achieve high weaning weights with lots of eye appeal.
5. Chiltern Park Moe M6: A well-balanced and proven calving ease sire with breed-leading docility, desirable claw shape, and daughters with extra milk. A popular choice over heifers.
7. Whispering Pines Q82: A sire with tremendous width that incorporates all we love about the Angus breed. He exhibits a curve bending low birth weight and high early growth while also producing moderate and efficient mature cow weights. You can expect his calves to excel in the most challenging growing seasons with fats in the top 10 per cent of the breed. A product of highly
