Partendo dalla vicenda di Chris Sizemore, una donna americana che nella seconda metà degli anni Cinquanta scoprì di avere personalità multiple, viene raccontato il percorso costellato da fragilità e dubbi che ha vissuto la protagonista della collezione senza però lasciarsi abbattere totalmente dall'inquietudine: infatti si riesce a giungere ad una rinascita che porta pace e serenità grazie ad una rivoluzione interiore scoppiata nel cuore di una donna stanca di subire la vita e che di conseguenza arriva ad un punto di rottura. Studiando la figura di Chris ho capito che era un particolare tipo di donna così ho fatto un lavoro estetico riprendendo le linee dal contesto storico della Sizemore le ho personalizzate e attualizzate. Nel fare questo ho considerato la forza e la fragilità che la caratterizzavano, elementi che convivevano nella stessa persona e che convivono ancora oggi nella donna moderna. Ho sviluppato 25 outfit in cui ritroviamo linee e tagli rigidi che danno un'idea di austerità e severità uniti a dei tagli più morbidi che rendono la figura sinuosa. Alcuni figurini sono una commistione di queste due tipologie di linee mentre altri rappresentano esclusivamente uno dei due aspetti. Inoltre le stratificazioni danno l'idea di un bisogno di protezione che viene soddisfatto quando si indossano i cappotti, infatti si tratta di capi simbolo di una vera e propria armatura.

DESCRIPTION Vestito lungo dietro e corto davanti. Vestibilità aderente. Davanti asimmetrico composto da due pannelli di lunghezza differente. Il davanti è caratterizzato da un taglio verticale decentrato. Chiusura con zip invisibile sul dietro. Parte superiore foderata.
