Bomb cyclone' hits US East Coast; 12 dead, flights disrupted

A monster winter "bomb tornado" clobbered the US East Coast on Thursday with solidifying cool and substantial snow, constraining a large number of flight cancelations and boundless school terminations - and notwithstanding inciting the US Senate to scratch off votes in favor of whatever is left of the week.
