ABOUT Established in 2012, Question Everything is an award-winning UK based childrenswear label offering hand-smocked pieces, rompers and separates for ages 0-8 in modern and classic prints. Founded by Angie Adams, the collection takes its inspiration from the diverse cultures and lifestyles that Angie has experienced from East meets West to street markets, flora and fauna, changing weather, cityscapes and music.
Angie Adams Angie Adams is founder of Question Everything. Growing up in both the Philippines and the UK has meant that Angie's work as a childrenswear designer has been heavily influenced by her background and life experiences. Having studied at the London School of Fashion, Angie began her career as a drummer for an all girl rock band after receiving a record deal. The demands of recording and travelling took its toll and in 2006 after the birth of her second child, Angie switched her lifestyle to motherhood. During this time, Angie studied for and qualified with a degree in Homeopathy and became a practising homeopath. It was only after the birth of her third child that led her to design clothing for her children and after receiving positive feedback on her collection meant she could pursue a lifelong ambition of launching a childrenswear label. Thus Question Everything was born.
ETHICS Today, Question Everything is renowned for creating classic, wearable pieces for children at affordable prices. Ethics and the production process are of paramount importance to the brand. Each piece is 100% cotton and hand-smocked by artisans in Manila operating out of the same family-run business. All of Question Everything’s dresses are hand-smocked at home by a local community of ladies in the Philippines, where Question Everything founder Angie Adams is originally from, which enables them to earn a living from their skills. The dresses are made in a small factory which Angie regularly visits and where she know the team of ladies in charge of the production and the processes involved. All ensuring that the production process is as ethical as possible from start to finish. A percentage of every Question Everything sale goes to Childhope Asia which seeks to support and secure justice for street and working children in the Philippines. Childhope Asia Philippines is an international, non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian organization whose principal purpose is to advocate for the cause of street children throughout the world. It works toward the liberation of the child from the suffering caused by working and living on the street. Angie works closely with this charity by visiting the headquarters regularly to talk to those in charge about what’s going on and what’s currently required as well as visiting with the street children.
