As an architect it is important to have a decent understanding of what goes around us. THE CHOCOLATE ROOM CAFE & CO-WORKING LOUNGE hitec city - hyderabad
The overall concept is based on the idea of giving the space an entire co-working lounge aith giving equal priority to the retail aspect as well The site, has 2 levels of ground and first with internal staircase that had to be planned accordingly. We then divided the space as a retail floor and a working floor. § § §
Ground floor has all the kitchen and POS with required seating and having design elements all through the floor. Coming to the first floor, the major USP was to give a dedicated laid back working space aked by the clients with utmost comfort for the working professionals. Hence, the concept of honeycomb seating came into mind as the number of sides a hexagon consists is a perfect balance of seated dining and seated workplace.

All the furniture was planned from china includng the light fixtures; so the requirements of the site were to only design the rest of the parts such as the partitions; outdoor balconies; pergola's., wall cladding This project was more like designing a outer space of a residence with a little to do in interiors

The site has outdoor and indoor spaces; with indoor space being very small and outdoor space being the major zone Indoor space has been restricted to the retail front and billing section of the store with getting no seating inside So the challenge was to create maximum seating zones on the outer space by giving a semi private area on the open area

Levels are something that every designer wants to adapt and implement atleast once in any of their designs, but it rarely is accpeted by the clients. Luckily, for this store which displays and sells all the things related to wood, we were asked to redesign the existing store completely by removing everything thats already existing.

A completely empty linear site of 250' X 85' facing the 100 ft. road in madhapur, was asked to be designed with a display store in the front and a warehouse for the loading and unloading of the stones from large vehicle So, the maximum site had to be left for the second half and only a little amount of site was given to us for the design of display store Considering the linearity of the site, we planned to go in a disoriented form for the building block.

A total site area of 7.15 acres, we were asked to design a big scale convention centre with hotel for staying, 2 lawns for different occasions and banquet halls with all the administrative works. The entrance to the site has a long stretch of road with 1 major lawn to the left side with the service room sin the front. The central focus element has been givin to the driveway waterbody with a mural ring which can be lit with lights accordingly

The facade of the main convention centre was given importance by considering the height of the structure, we had considered a total height of 35' after discussions with the PEB office. To cover such height with a pleasing yet heavy design, we thought of going with the thought of upside down.

Evolve studio is in a building with a complete front face of a heavy traffic road, which gives it a good scope for natural light to enter So, we decided to not let the natural light come and showcase and by giving good artificial lighting for the display and products. Major display is of kitchens and wardrobes with some samples Clients had asked us to design a very classic front desk and something to store the samples in the customer lounge, others were a free hand for us to design
The centre table in the customer lounge itself acts a s a storage space too as we designed it by giving simple niches for them to store it For the signange, we thought of giving it a floated look, so we took the design of brite rods rafters onto which the signange pops up

All the initial concepts fr the storage and customer lounge which was already half way through at the site, but later had to change it as required with clients

A G+1 store given to us for a pizza brand including a the kitchen in itself, we were already left with only 30% of area in ground floor due to ehich seating was getting a bit of an issue in the ground floor We decide to go for a mezzanine seating in the existing floor level as the ground floor ceiling height was higher

A 3.2 acre site was given to be developed with farmhouse in the exact centre with farming all around as per the clients requirements The major ask was to design a single story farm house for a family of 4 in a very direct and modern way Considering the idea of sky-lights, we thought of giving a complete open to sky atmosphere in parts of the residence
