OUR MISSION

HHRD is a global humanitarian relief and development organization responding to human sufferings in emergency and disaster situations around the world. In addition to our emergency relief efforts in natural or man-made disasters, we also work on long term relief and development programs.

HHRD is committed to serve humanity by integrating resources for people in need. We strive to provide immediate response in disasters, and effective programs in places of suffering, for the Pleasure of God Almighty.

MAJOR PROJECTS


EMERGENCY RELIEF: NEPAL

The violent 7.8 magnitude earthquake caused countless deaths and left millions devastated. HHRD’s Emergency Response Team was in Nepal within 48 hours with medicines and medical equipment. Our team included physicians, orthopedics, and physiotherapist and relief workers. HHRD initiated relief work with Emergency Medical Clinics along with food, clean water, tents and basic necessities. HHRD efforts include long-term rehabilitation following post-emergency relief.

In the midst of severe turmoil and human rights violation, HHRD is working through HHRD’s established Jordan office with the Syrian Refugees and victims inside Syria.

Due to persecution of the Rohingyas, HHRD has started Orphan Support, In-Kind Gifts, Seasonal and Emergency Response in Burma.

HHRD is supporting 450+ Syrian Refugee Orphans, Skills Development Program, Ramadan and Udiyah/Qurbani Distribution and Winter Relief Program

HHRD has operating offices in Cebu and Yangon and is working on one in Burma.

HHRD’s prompt response to the African Drought Crisis in East Africa led to the establishment of our office in Kenya in 2011. Projects include: In-Kind Gift, Orphan Support, Seasonal, Skill Development, Water for Life, Education Support, Healthcare (Mobile clinics) and Emergency response HHRD has recently opened an elementary school for Orphan Children in Mogadishu, Somalia

In 2005 the 7.8 magnitude earthquake led to HHRD’s Emergency Relief in the region. HHRD continues to provide relief during devastating natural disasters including the massive floods in 2010, dubbed by the United Nations as, one of the five most deadly disasters of that year. HHRD now has cluster offices in 25 districts to aid in long-term projects.

This area is considered one of the largest open air prisons in the world. Daily, the people of Palestine suffer from lack of basic humanitarian rights. HHRD is currently sponsoring refugee Palestinian Orphans, providing food, meat distributions, hygiene items and Ramadan Food baskets through partners like UNRWA. HHRD is also sponsoring UNRWA schools and Palestinian Student scholarship program for higher education. Skills Development program and Winter Relief program are also part of the relief to this region.
